An excellent vehicle - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By M. Andrews - March 3 - 1:53 pmHave had the vehicle 3 months and driven it 4,000 miles. No problems. Rides and drives much like our Camry. Looked at a Honda Pilot but when comparing them we selected the Highlander even though it was more expensive. Would highly recommend it for those who want a smooth ride and are not interested in off-road driving.

High on my Highlander - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Dave C - February 9 - 6:30 pmI bought my 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited about 6 weeks ago. FOr the first week the only word I used to describe it was "smooth". Now that Ive gotten used to that I also am pretty happy with the 22 MPG Im getting overall, the comfort of the leather seats and the easy-to-use instrumentation. The automatic climate control is nice too. I live in Vermont and was concerned about the basic tires but so far the electronic control systems have kept the wheels from spinning. But it still slides on ice just like any other car. I had a Ford Explorer before and got 200,000 miles out of it but the resale value of the Toyotas made me switch. The Highlander Limited fits me like a glove!

Great suv - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Room617 - January 27 - 10:00 amI have to say that this suv is very well built. It drives like a car and does well off road (not talking about mud bogging or serious off roading if you want that jeep wrangler or hummer h2 is for you). My friend a pipefitter who hates japanese cars said it was very quiet and this was when he was putting it to its paces off road when we were river rafting on the colorado. Toyotas do cost more but if you want a car that wont rattle and will be reliable for the long haul then toyotas highlander is your type of vehicle. Safety features are great and I have had the thing in hairy corners but it drove like a car hugging the road with minamal body lean.

What is Missing - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Stuart Goldfine - January 12 - 3:30 amWish the car had a temperature gauge for outside temp. Also another cup holder on left side of steering wheel. Also with the cloth seats on the V-6, you do not get a CD player holding 6 discs.

Best Car I ever owned - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By erin, MD - December 22 - 9:23 amI just love driving my Highlander. It is such a smooth ride. The air conditioning comes on instantly even on really hot days. The interior is really nice and neatly organized. My only complaint is the gas light comes on early; before it even touches E.

Love my Highlander! - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Pat Hardin - November 28 - 3:26 amExtremely comfortable to drive. Easy to get in and out of (Im short). Lots of get up and go when you need it. I was really surprised the first time I passed someone on a 2 lane. Very quiet...you have to really listed to hear it running.

The Best car you will own - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Dave - November 12 - 1:13 amI have owned a few in my 50 years on the planet. This is undisputedly the finest. Tight, nimble, agile quiet as a mouse, superior build quality that shows! dont look any further if you are in the market for a crossover SUV. The looks are snazzy too! If you live in Washington state, buy from Rodland Toyota for a simple no hassle deal. I love this car! but then again, I love my 2000 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner too! with 83K on it and never a problem and still gets 21 MPG! 3.4L V6. TOYOTA SIMPLY RULES!

Great Vehicle - 2005 Toyota Highlander
By Louisse - November 5 - 11:10 amThe Highlander is a great vehicle to own. The luxury model has great features like heated leather seats and the 3rd row seating folds down to give extra cargo space which really comes in handy. The overall comfort of the vehicle is great whether you are short or tall, more headroom than Jeep. Wouldnt trade this reliable, fun vehicle for a BMW, Lexus, or any of the other "Luxury" models.
