This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is all-new. The main difference between it and all other Camry models is that it has a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain that is able to provide exceptional fuel economy. The Camry Hybrid also benefits from the 2007 Camry full redesign, as well.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, efficient hybrid powertrain, stronger acceleration than many regular four-cylinder family sedans.
Cons:
  • More expensive than most other Camry styles, small trunk.

  • The ultimate middle class family sedan - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

They hybrid engine takes a little getting used to. Its now two weeks after I started driving it, and I find I am getting over 40 mpg in mixed city and highway driving. I traded in a 2004 Camry for the Hybrid and the improvements were quite noticable. This is a comfortable, sprited well engineered vehicle. A family car that is great to drive. The gas savings put this car over the edge as far as being the right choice for the family sedan.

I went from a minivan to the Camry. I was afraid that I would miss the space of the minivan. The features gained far outway the space. It drives very easy, lots of leg room, luxerious feel, I am really impressed. I have not missed the minivan once.

I LOVE the Camry. I feel safe in it. I love the blue-tooth and I can live with the cloth seats. The interior colors (gray) look very nice. I feel like I am being kinder to Mother Earth, and am happy driving right by the gas station. Its a great car. Go get one!

  • Better mileage than advertised - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

We had to wait 4 months before picking up the car and learned after filing our taxes that we were not entitled to the whole $2600 tax refund as we had anticipated. But we are exceedingly satisfied with the car. We are getting 42-44 mpg on long trips going 65-70 mph. Very quiet on the road and no noise when starting to drive with electric engine operating.

I love my Camry Hybrid, however, I only get around 23 mpg in stop and go situations in the summer. I get about 27 mpg in city driving in the winter. I figure some of it is due to A/C use as I live in the desert, but it seems like everyone gets mpg in the 30s in city driving. I get 39-40 on the highway. I dont have a heavy foot either. Im 72 years old.

I love my Camry Hybrid! I love to drive it down the road it feels like you are floating. I also love how the car make no sounds when you are stopped it it running on electric and when you go to take off it comes to life. There are so many gadgets it really makes me feel like I am riding in luxary. Smart Key is the best, I never have to worry about setting down my keys and leaving them someplace. The smart key just always stays in my purse. The best of all is I will go 2.5 to 3 weeks on a tank of gas!

  • Hybrid Camry Experience - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Fuel econonmy on the highway has been better than EPA predictions, while results around town have been lower. The primary reason for the lower fuel economy around town is I drive up and down quite a few long and steep hills (>6% grade). In terms of comfort and general functions, the car has excxeeded my expectations. Im still learning all the navigation and voice recognition features, although, Im not sure how useful this stuff is.

The fit and finish of both interior and exterior makes me smile. I bought this car to make a statement to the guzzling and polluting planet - and am so far surprised at how much i love it for creature comfort as well. I come from 7 years of an Audi A6 , and it is not a step down.

Camry hybrid is worst car Ive ever seen. I bought this car for almost $33,000 and after I drive this car almost 151,000 mile, the hybrid system cooked. And I change hybrid system for almost $13,000. That means the car cost me $46,000 and still not satisfied from this car because last week fuel system broke down on the highway and I get into an accident. Changed the fuel system for $1,000 again, and at 70,000 miles, the abs break system was shut down. It was changed for $1500. This car is worst car do not buy please.

Driving this car is like eating chocolate. Really good chocolate that I got at a deep discount. The great mileage is only a bonus. I would love the car even if I didnt get 42 MPG.
