Overview & Reviews
The Toyota Avalon remains largely unchanged for the 2007 model year. All models now have tire-pressure sensors, and a navigation system is now available on the Touring trim.
- High-quality cabin, soft and quiet ride, upscale amenities.
- No folding rear seats, refined nature leaves little room for personality.

Former Lifetime GM Owner - 2007 Toyota Avalon
By Former GM Owner - August 12 - 10:00 amI have purchased 5 new GM vehicles since 1994. The new Toyota Avalon XLS is superb so far, great handling, quiet ride, super gas mileage on 87 octane regular. The Avalon 3.5 engine has so much more power than my Buick with 3800 engine, its sometimes almost too quick. I ordered the sound deadening package which maybe just an undercoat, but it sure rides quiet. I like the well lighted large letter display. The special oil filter valve that keeps all the oil from draining back into the pan, and the 6.4 quart oil pan should add engine life.

Preliminary Review - 2007 Toyota Avalon
By carhop57 - July 9 - 12:46 amI just took possession of the car two weeks ago and cannot provide a meaningful review. However, I thought I would mention what caught my eye for others to contemplate if interested in this model. The alignment of the dash with the doorside simulated wood panels was out of kilter on the drivers side and the front drivers side fender panel was slightly out of alignment. Nothing too serious, but I was expecting perfection. I take the car back to the dealer next week to install side moldings/mudguards and will mention this to them. After I get some mileage under my belt Ill rate again. At this stage rated the car giving the benefit of the doubt.

Love It! - 2007 Toyota Avalon
By Love It - January 13 - 1:56 pmBought the Limited, and was sold on the smooth, almost silent ride, super engine and trans performance, great looks and the luxurious interior. For us, in Florida, the perforated and ventilated leather seats sold us on this trim level. No more sweaty back! Worried about door dings in the beautiful white pearl paint, so bought the factory, color matched bodyside moldings for $150, and installed them myself in about 20 minutes. They enhance the appearance. I hope the mileage is as rated. Advantage w/the Avalon over much of the competition, is regular fuel.
