Follow up to earlier review of 2/11. Now have little over 5,000 miles on SX4. Gas mileage 95% in town, no stop and go has been 25-28. 28 requires low rpm shifts and some coasting techniques. Solid build, no rattles. A/C works well for 90+ heat. No mechanical issues. Has done very well SOFT offroading up sloped grassy hillsides around baseball parking area. If teen takes off to school with this car I will very likely replace it with another SX4, but I might look at sedan to be released. I do not often require more storage than basic trunk would provide.

  • I Like Mine - 2007 Suzuki SX4

I got a copper colored one. I really like mine so far. I think it looks good. The price is great for what you get. I love driving mine. I went from a full size SUV to a midsize SUV to this. I like this the best of the three. It is not a $30,000 vehicle so dont expect it to be. It handles nicely, sits comfortably, gets decent gas mileage. I like the warranty (as long as dealer stays around). I am over 6 feet tall and large framed and I feel comfortable driving it. Has plenty of headroom and legroom. View from drivers seat appears much larger than it is. Appears to be well built. My daughter had an early model Suzuki and drove it HARD. It just kept going and going.

  • Better Than ALL the rest - 2007 Suzuki SX4

My wife bought the Fit in October and my nephew bought the Versa two weeks later so I have plenty to compare with. Both of them regret not buying the Suzuki SX4. With the warranty and the standard features included with this vehicle, their vehicles dont even come close in comparison. They both agree that paying for the name (Nissan & Honda) isnt what a savvy buyer should do if there is a manufacturer building a better car out there for less money. I would recommend this car to anyone!

  • Did I buy SX4 too - 2007 Suzuki SX4

Ive read many good reviews. I bought the car. Now I am wondering whether it is the same car which many other reviewers described. It is slow. In the city it is OK but joining highway traffic is a dangerous exercise. Going from 45 to 60 is so slow. You push the accelerator pedal and wait and wait and wait. You need to be very careful. Gas mileage is 23 mpg. Ride is not smooth and solid. The car behaves like a heavy and unwieldy carriage on the road. Missing many small storage places. To a future buyer, please, TEST drive.

  • My Brother Thought It Cost $23,000 - 2007 Suzuki SX4

But I paid only $15,599 after some haggling. The handling, ride, and comfort all are top notch. I took it to a local snowed-in park and did mange to finally get stuck, but then I learned to stay in L and keep a foot on the brake to prevent wheel spin. The traction control on the Sport is probably worth the extra $1,000. I love the MP3/WMA CD player, intermittent rear wiper, keyless entry, daytime running lights, and LOW insurance. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly and runs at only 3,000 rmp at 80 mph, which is 1,000 rmp less than the manual. Im still on my first tank of gas so I dont know the millage yet. The tumble-forward rear seat creates a large, square cargo area, that is great for dogs. But Ill probably remove it.

  • SX4 sport, great car at great price - 2007 Suzuki SX4

Use it for driving to office, half highway half local. Got 28mpg (with 2wd). Feel a little noiser when speed up before get to 50 miles. SX4 is for people would like to have a small car but also have trunk space, and can have 4wd on a snow day. Small car? It actually is not small at all. 6 man sits in from seat very comfortably. It weighs a bit heavy but very stable when driving.

  • Great Car for the Money - 2007 Suzuki SX4

It is a great car. It is extremely comfortable. When you are driving it, you feel like you are driving a SUV. The car does not have great initial pep, but once you get moving it takes off. It has a very smooth ride even on rough roads. Everyone I have taken in it likes it also. Even the people who sat in the back seat which is also very comfortable. It is more comfortable then the Honda CR-V, which my brother owns. I only paid $14,900 for it. It is not a $17,000 + vehicle like someone else said (unless you get a lot of upgrades) and on an empty take it cost $19 to fill up at a cost of $2.23 per gallon. It even comes with a great warranty (7y, 100K bumper to bumper) which gives you confidence.

  • Good AWD Vehicle for the Price - 2007 Suzuki SX4
    By -

I bought this vehicle two months ago. The main selling points were the AWD and lots of standard features for under $15,000. It is fun to drive, very maneuverable, and one of the easiest vehicles to park. I loaded it with five passengers and it did just fine.

  • Love My SX4 Sport! - 2007 Suzuki SX4

I drive my SX4 about 30 miles to and from work. I havent had any problems.

  • Lovin my Suzuki - 2007 Suzuki SX4

I commute to work everyday and this car makes for a great ride. The trip is not at all highway and the gas mileage is not horrible, but not what I expected. The features that came with the sport model were one of the selling points. You usually pay a lot more for these options. The looks are deceiving from the outside. Plenty of room, even for larger people. This car is very sporty looking also. The price is great for an AWD.
