Newly available is integrated iPod connectivity, which delivers iPod display information and allows unit control through the audio system.

  All around this is a nice car but...its reliability is poor! An iPod plugged in to the center console (designed and factory installed by Toyota) caught fire and caused over $8,000 worth of repairs NOT COVERED BY MY WARRANTY. Toyota blamed it on the iPod which miraculously STILL WORKS! We were told that Toyota had never had any problems with this. My thoughts...there is ALWAYS A FIRST ONE! We will never buy another Toyota.

  well, this car has been pretty reliable, its fun to drive, and it gets...decent gas mileage. and i mean decent. it gets 23 mpg, city or highway, always. yeah. not as good as id hoped but oh well. basically its a good car, fun, reliable, safe.

  Solid Car thats Stylish too - 2006 Scion TC

  This car is my first new car purchase, after graduating college I was looking for a stylish looking car that would be reliable as well. The scion tC is that car. Pros: Great looking, nice stereo, quick for a 4-cyl., interior design is stylish, back seats a roomy and all seats are comfortable and this car defenitly looks more exensive than it is (will get expensive when you add options like I did) and you can customize it. Cons: loud engine, rims scratch real easy, small trunk (but who really cares about trunk space). Overall I give this car a B and it is the perfect choice for a first car.

  For the price, i have been very happy. I love the fact (trust) that the engine is based on the existing long tested 4cyl. I believe it could use a little more power, but the supercharger is an option. The interior design is better than some cars Ive seen at much higher prices. Overall, been driving this for 2 months and could not be happier. It was a good buying experience and even better ownership experience. Definetly recommending this model

  Purchased my Scion tC brand new for $15,900 (manual transmission)...an outstanding value for that price. Only thing I added was the rear wing, aluminum shift knob and the aluminum pedal covers. Decent styling in and out, good on gas, fun to drive and very reliable. Seating was comfortable for a long drive and the performance was decent for an economy-priced car. Where the economy-priced traits showed up were in interior noise, squeaks and rattles and poor paint quality--at least with the dark purple paint. Perhaps the lighter colors (i.e. white or silver) would wear better.

  This little car handles so well and has plenty of pick up when you need it. It does have 2 blindspots but if you adjust your mirrors well you should be fine. It is a fun car to drive and great stereo sound. A lot of car for your money.

  Other than the air-conditioner needing a bit more "kick", and the color of the interior / nylon seats, I love my Scion tC! I drive it all the time, and it is economical and really fun to drive. I am 52 years old..and feel like the LIttle Ol Lady from Pasedena! I love the pickup speed and the versatility of the whole car.
