Newly available is integrated iPod connectivity, which delivers iPod display information and allows unit control through the audio system.

  10,000 Miles, 6 Month Review - 2006 Scion TC

  I just hit 10,000 miles after six months of driving everyday. The tC is a great car, fun to drive, averaging 27-28 miles per gallon, or 350 miles per tank. Did I mention that it is fun to drive? It offers more room than most two door sport cars. My biggest complaint is that it rattles. First the radio (dealer fixed it) now behind my head in the head liner area. It is going to the shop this week. The iPod radio is great. I have no regrets.

  3 and half years and 41,000 miles later the car still runs like the day I drove it off the lot. Since I just recently paid it off, I decided to buy and install the TRD Supercharger to renew my overall interest in the car. This upgrade brings my performance rating from a 7.0 to a 9.5 (rounded to 10). The charger is smooth and quiet and makes 2nd through 5th gear a blast. The manual gearbox is fun once you become acquainted with the clutch. The car just looks gorgeous with ground effects and spoiler. I loved my tC before the forced induction but now were on a whole new level.

  When looking for a new car, I had a little list of things that I was looking for 1) Looks 2) Reliability 3) Good gas mileage 4) Fun to drive. The car that always seemed to stand out was the Scion tC. What put the tC over the top for me was the Release Series 2.0. The color is awesome and the alcantara seats are just as great. Mechanically, the car is solid. Its definitely not a sports car, but drives extremely smoothly and quiet. Its handling is OK, but accurate. There is a lot more room on the inside than it looks. The back seats have tons of leg and hip room, but the head room is a little lacking. This is a great daily driver that gives you what you need and some stuff you want without costing a ton. If you see many tCs on the road, its for a reason.

  This car has shined and l dont mean just the paint. This is the best car l have owned since and l have owned 2 American cars and trucks, a German car, and an Audi A4. It reminds me a lot of that car but for thousands of dollars less.

  It is different. I like the size, its not too small, just right. I love the panoramic sunroof. It gets attention everywhere I go. Fixing it up is lots of fun. The radio is cool too.

  I wouldve easily paid A LOT more. I am still amazed they are priced so low ...and the extras that are included ...wow! I traded in a 3 year old $50,000+ vehicle for the scion and dont regret it.

  I just got my 06 Scion tC a few days ago. Ive wanted this car for over a year, and because of my stupidity I bought an 06 Mazda3 not really wanting to buy it. Lets just say I felt extremely pressured...but oh well that is in the past! I am extremely happy with my tC and I absolutly love it! Now my boyfriend wants one too! Ive made him jelous! This car is awesome to drive and you get soo much car for your money! I love it!

  I love this car. Is it very fast, I have found that it goes almost as fast (in the 0-60 and highest speed) as a Porsche. Yeah. It is pretty nimble and trust me, I push it. They are hot cars and totally blow the Hyundai Tiburon and Honda Civic out of the water for how cheap they are. The all-glass roofs rock my face off. And you can upgrade almost everything which is nice. It needs more power though or at least it needs more rumble.

  I have enjoyed driving this vehicle since the first test drive. It has all the capabilitys of sports car, and the looks of an expensive luxury coupe. People do not believe the price I paid. Took it on its first road trip (a 1600 mile round trip). Having cruise control on a 5sp was nice. From full (F) to very close to empty (E), i was over 410 miles before i filled up. The added performance parts made by toyota and put on by toyota does not affect the warranty, which makes the little extra power and performance handling awesome. Oh yeah, how could i forget the reclining back seat. unbelievable.
