Outside the Target - 2006 Scion TC
By tvguyjake - October 26 - 10:36 pmTraded in an 02 Jeep Liberty for my Scion tC...what a difference. The ride quality, tight steering, balanced handling, low-end torque...all with reknowned Toyota build-quality. I spent 4 months looking for a new ride,,,,drove them all; and still cannot believe all the standard features packed from Scion for $17,000.

My tC - 2006 Scion TC
By RICK - September 24 - 10:36 pmThis car provides more bang for the buck than its nearest competitors. It is fun to drive and admired by many as it drives by. It delivers great performance, outstanding features, and style. I am an auto/truck wholesale buyer by profession and I find the tC to be well worth the money! Toyota needs to add leather seats and Pearl White paint to their new models to further cut the competion down. The 2.4 Camry 4-cylinder motor delivers outstanding performance.

Fantastic - 2006 Scion TC
By jay - September 21 - 4:00 pmThis car is wonderful. It is fast, turns heads, and gets pretty good gas mileage for such a sporty car. I previously drove a Honda Civic and this just blows the doors off in comparison. In its price range, it is really untouchable. I spent a great deal of time comparing cars and was, at first, wary because I did not have much familiarity with the brand. Any trepidation I had was completely unfounded. My experience at the dealership was straightforward and low pressure. I strongly recommend that any person looking for a great looking and affordable car that handles well give the Scion tC some serious consideration.

My tC has heart, my heart :) - 2006 Scion TC
By Michelle - September 11 - 10:16 amI love my scion tC. Ever since I bought I can not go anywhere with out getting questioned about it. It is fun to drive, fast and has a really awsome sporty look. It was the car that i was looking for but thought that i could not afford. Starting at $16,000 it is by far the only car on the road that will give you all of the options that you would want with a hot spoiler, subwoofer, rims and just about any feature to choose from. Clearly priced toward the bank account of a college student or young professional.

For Older People, too - 2006 Scion TC
By Jan Marxreiter - August 20 - 10:33 pmWhen I needed a new car, I checked Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. My grown son said check out Scion. I had not heard of it. Well, we took it out for a test drive and I was sold. When I test drive, I take my son along and have him drive while I sit in the back seat. If I like a car sitting in the back seat, I know I will like it sitting in the front seat. A year later, I still enjoy driving my Scion so much. My son said that if I decide to get rid of it (ha ha) he gets first right over his three sisters. The price is incredible for all the features you get. One complaint - stop marketing to young people - old people love it too! Thank you Scion! Baby Boomer.

Lovin It - 2006 Scion TC
By moots13181 - June 8 - 6:50 amIve had my tC now for 8 months and driven it 18,000 miles. I do a wide variety of driving but on average mostly city. My mileage is usually 27+ mpg even with all city driving and winter gasoline, Im looking forward to seeing what summer gas/highway driving will do. I took care to break the engine/transmission in right and the car seems to be rewarding me with plentiful power and good economy. I really enjoy the torque around town and the wide power band on the highway. Many times I never even downshift to pass. My average highway mileage is 28.5mpg also on winter gas. The interior is very open and roomy, the seats are comfortable, supportive, and very adaptable. I love the gauges/dash design.

rattling noise in the trunk - 2006 Scion TC
By Csaba - June 1 - 3:43 amI bought my Scion tC last October. I drive it every day in the city and on the highway and still feel the thrill every time I get in it. Its like you slip into it first time at the dealership, except now you know what to expect of its on road performance. Ive also experienced the rattling noise and it is easy to fix. I found that the noise caused by the trunk covers short plastic pins (on both sides) sitting and rattling in their sockets. Flip up the cover and put some soft material in the sockets, such as a piece of felt, rubber or just wrap a little (black electric) tape around the pins before you push them back in the sockets. Make it well fit and that should solve the problem.
