This Year's Model Updates:

Saturn has upgraded the Ion with new fabrics, improved plastics and a new radio with MP3 and satellite radio capability. The electric steering has been revised for improved feel at highway speeds, while the sedan's five-speed automatic and the coupe's CVT have been recalibrated for improved gear selection and response. Finally, Saturn has installed additional sound-deadening material to reduce cabin noise. A Special Edition version of the sedan provides black exterior paint, distinctive 16-inch wheels and a two-tone interior.

I absolutely love my car, Ive never had a single problem with it, and it has ridiculously high miles for a 2004. At 100,000 miles, my car runs amazing. In fact, Im in a racing club. People are surprised at the amazing gas mileage and the style of the car. It drives great and I love it to death! Just baby the car and it will baby you.

  • My first new car - 2004 Saturn ION

My last car was an 94 Saturn SL1. What a world of difference has been made in these new models. The Redline is a further improvement in the right direction by Saturn. Ive done quite a bit of looking around, and you just cant beat the performance / price ratio of this car. Even with a 5 year / 60k warranty my car is cheap by comparison. I highly suggest a Saturn Ion Redline.

  • Reliable Fun Car - 2004 Saturn ION

I recently bought a 2004 Ion and i absolutly love it. It is bigger then economy class cars i have driven in the past. It has a lot of power and is very easy to handle. I paid a little extra and got an upgraded interior that looks great. I carry a lot of sporting equipment with me and love that i have a big trunk to fit it all in. Couldnt be happier with my Saturn Ion Experience

  • Quad Coupe - 2004 Saturn ION

Bought a 2003 Ion Quad Coupe 3 in July of 03 and have grown to love it. Came out of a Toyota Pickup and hope the Ion can match the reliabilty of the truck. So far it has been great. Fast enough for me, 30 miles to the gallon in the city, and the burnt orange color gets a lot of looks. Have never owned an automatic and this stick is smooth and easy to get used to.

  • 4 time owner - 2004 Saturn ION

This is my 4th car my newest one this year, my 3rd lease. I am very happy with the dealership as the sales people have been there many years, several 10 plus and when I go in there they know me and help me. Its a relaible car, I have never had any trouble with mine. I love the dent resistant doors it keeps the car looking great when those who have no value in morals, hit you and just leave.

  • Excellent Vehicle - 2004 Saturn ION
    By -

I have had my car for 2 months now, and have had no problems yet. This is the best car for the money, it has equal or more horsepower and torque than any other car in its class (i.e. Mazda 3). Instead of giving this vehicle a flashy interior, GM put the majority of their money into the powertrain and chassis of this vehicle, which makes this vehicle both fun to drive and reliable.

  • An excellent car at a great price - 2004 Saturn ION
    By -

I bought my Ion earlier this month. I traded in a 2001 Honda Civic LX. Despite what I read in road tests, the seats are very comfortable, the ride and handling are both excellent and the center-mounted instruments are no better or worse than conventional instruments, just different. The updated steering is nearly as good as my old Civics. Im getting 29-30 mpg in mostly city driving. After three Hondas in a row, I have no regrets buying a Saturn.
