For the 2010 Nissan Versa, antilock brakes are now standard equipment on 1.8 S and 1.8 SL models. Foglights are now standard on the 1.8 SL, and all Versas feature a new grille design. Finally, a navigation system becomes optional for the Versa SL (late availability).
- Good fuel economy, roomy interior with an adult-friendly backseat, comfortable ride, soft-touch interior surfaces, many available convenience features, huge trunk.
- Banal handling, less versatile than the Honda Fit.

Mixed feelings...love it but worried... - 2010 Nissan Versa

Except that Ive only had it for less than 24 hours, (w/25 miles on it when I drove off the dealership) and the same thing happens to me as one of the reviewers...a weird knocking sound coming from the right front tire. It happens when I accelerate right after driving and/or backing out of a spot. The steering wheel also makes a squeaking sound when backing up into a spot. Im not sure if I should be concerned because its a brand new car or maybe it just needs to be driven more and the noises will go away through time. Other than that, I am super happy with the build quality and fine interior.

Lets be fair - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Rezavi, G - September 10 - 12:20 pmYou get what you pay for. I am satisfied with the car considering what I paid for it. There are some recurring themes of problems (lets face it we want to know the bad before we buy): 1. There is occasional weird noise when I make a hard right turn at > 30 mph from the rear right wheel. 2. Transmission down shifting is non- existing, it is another weirdness to it overall not very smooth. 3. Experience the fan on with only 10 secs interval when the air conditioning is on. That does not sound right. Thats about it, the good news is that if your car is exhibiting one or all of these symptoms, well thats the point of 36,000 3 year warranty, get the bugs worked out while its covered.

By Mike - March 26 - 2:50 pmNice little car with great gas mileage. Had minor electrical problem before 3000 Mi. Plenty of room inside. Sufficient engine power. Ride is good for a small car. Seats are comfortable. Not too noisy.

Everything I wanted - 2010 Nissan Versa
By versaslowner - March 13 - 7:46 amI bought this car to replace my two door Honda Civic. So far it is spacious, fun to drive, and everything I was hoping for. Im not sure yet on the bas mileage, but it seems to be what I expected. Front seat has plenty of room. The keyless ignition and other features on the premium package are awesome!

Picked after trying all the others! - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Liz H - January 26 - 6:46 amMy husband and I tried every other hatchback and station wagon under $20,000 (including some used) before deciding on the Versa. We tried both the S and SL hatchback and chose the SL because it has much smoother acceleration, iPod hookup, and VDC and stability control (great in the snow!). So far, the car has been a joy. Handling is responsive but not too stiff. Some of the other hatchbacks felt like "kid cars" to us, but the Versa is roomy, with the most backseat space for a carseat to fit if needed. If you get the hatchback, make sure to purchase the $130 cargo organizer for a level load floor with bins below.

A great compact - 2010 Nissan Versa
By patriot1987 - April 4 - 5:26 pmSo last week I traded in my Chrysler Sebring convertible, and I am absolutely satisfied with the Versa. I wanted to trade the convertible for a more family oriented car. I wanted a car with good gas mileage, and at 35 highway without being a hybrid this car gets great MPG. I wanted a safer car, and the Versa has great saftey features. It is VERY room on the inside, trunk space is generous. Car has a smooth, quiet ride. For a 4 cylinder sedan it has some pick and go, it also handles the turns well. The A/C and heater are great. The sound System is great. My wife and I are completely satisfied.
