For the 2010 Nissan Versa, antilock brakes are now standard equipment on 1.8 S and 1.8 SL models. Foglights are now standard on the 1.8 SL, and all Versas feature a new grille design. Finally, a navigation system becomes optional for the Versa SL (late availability).
- Good fuel economy, roomy interior with an adult-friendly backseat, comfortable ride, soft-touch interior surfaces, many available convenience features, huge trunk.
- Banal handling, less versatile than the Honda Fit.

Tire pressure monitoring/front bumper - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Steve - September 24 - 10:00 amAll of the good things you have read about the Nissan Versa are true. Unfortunately, the front bumper cover is too low to the ground and the clips that hold the cover on are too fragile. Half my clips broke within the first month of driving, the cover bottoms-out exiting driveways of all kinds. The impact causes the too fragile clips that hold it on to the car to break. The cover is now held on with epoxy and aquarium glue. The Nissan Versa also has a multi-year history of faulty tire pressure monitoring systems and this has not been fixed for 2010. Dealerships have no fix for this since the problem apparently is the result of poor engineering and manufacturing of the air valve stems.

Incredible Car! - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Fantastic car !!! - August 29 - 5:23 amWe purchased the Versa with all the available options including premium package, cvt, nav, and sunroof. This car is awesome!I drive a BMW and the Versa is still a blast to drive. You have to go with all the extras for sure to make this car purchase worthwhile.Upgraded stereo is incredible with satellite and unbelievable sound with six speakers. The cvt is a must and the interior upgrades are a outstanding. the center console addition is perfect. We drove the basic model without the extras and there is no comparison to the fully loaded version. The price was crazy cheap given what we got. Gas mileage is great. We love the car!

New to Nissan - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Carla - August 12 - 10:00 amIve had my new car a week now and so far I love it. I put a lot of miles in every week and find this car very comfortable and am getting the 34 mpg hwy. Woo Hoo! Lots of interior room - I didnt have a lot of money to spend so got the basics - wish I would have got power locks - there is no key for passenger side so lots of reaching across to lock and unlock doors. Otherwise its a 10!

Cheap Plastic - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Adnum7 - March 30 - 2:00 amI had one of these as a rental in the summer and it seemed to be a solid, quiet, tightly built little car. Ok so I bought one. Now the weather is cold and the cheap plastic used for the console and dashboard rattles and squeaks like crazy until the interior warms up. Not impressed.

Very Nice Little Entry Level Car for Pri - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Simstim - March 28 - 10:43 pmI am quite pleased with this car. fun to drive, peppy,,, has acceleration if you need it, Clutch is a little soft or sensitive, Im used to Toyota Tercel 1997, with new clutch, so slightly different drive. the computer throttle cable has a 1 second lag in response to push of pedal or release so feels more like an automatic in that sense. first gear is really a short gear, almost too short, red lines in less than 1.5 seconds,,,, halfway through a turn from stop sign. Handles sporty compared to my old car. Lots of Interior room, especially adults in back. seats fold down flat really helps in cargo department. Stereo is actually acceptable and thats coming from a stereo freak!

LOVE the Hatchback - 2010 Nissan Versa
By Aussie Mom - August 10 - 3:26 pmWe have been looking and comparing cars for a while. We decided to test drive the Nissan Versa Hatchback. We drove the base model and then the SL. The SL model is the way to go. Ours has everything except the moonroof and navigation. I am really spoiled with all the extras. It is so quiet, and rides wonderfully. I have to watch my speed, because it feels like you are not moving that fast. There is so much room. We have 2 Aussies and lots of stuff and this can carry it all. It feels and looks like it should cost more!

think before buying Nissan - 2010 Nissan Versa

It rattles badly, has terrible fuel economy, is uncomfortable to drive, the price is not competive with other small sedans. I do not know what I was thinking when I bought this. I would only buy a Toyota or a Chevy next time.

Paid cash-and after a minimum amount of discussion got the vehicle for under $10,000.The car is quite basic-made the dealer put in a radio/cd as it had nothing(got a nice Pioneer) manual windows, locks,etc. but we dont care - awesome trunk-huge and the car hits 60 mph quickly! Also, saving a bundle on gas(commute 70 miles/day). Yeehaw- gotta love this Flintstones mobile!

Love it so far. - 2010 Nissan Versa
By jeffrn - October 27 - 1:15 amI bought this car used. It has 40k miles on it but feels and looks new (kudos to previous owner). This car is a huge step up from my former SUV which as we all know was clumsy and a gas hog. This car is like a toy for me. It zips when I need it to and stops when I need it to. Corners like a champ and is full of features. Excellent car for the price.
