This Year's Model Updates:

The 2010 Nissan Sentra receives a new optional navigation system (late availability) that includes a 5-inch color screen and real-time traffic information. Other tweaks include revised headlights and taillights for all models, a new grille and front fascia for the 2.0, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL, a standard 4.3-inch color-display audio head unit with iPod and Bluetooth controls for 2.0 SL and the SE-R models, and an optional back-up camera for the navigation system. Also, the 2.0SL receives standard stability control, but its leather upholstery is now optional rather than standard. Finally, the slight fuel economy increase provided by last year's "FE+" trim level has been added to all models with the 2.0-liter engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Pros:
  • Spacious seating, intuitive control layout, varied engine lineup.
Cons:
  • Droning acceleration with CVT, flinty ride, forgettable handling in all but the SE-R models.

  • Updated Review - Still Awesome - 2010 Nissan Sentra

The gas mileage is better than what sites say! Now that Ive had the car for almost a year and put 16,000 miles, I get an average of 31.5 mileage per gallon. With 70% city and 30% hwy. The car lets you automatically know what your current gas mileage so its easy to learn the most efficient way to drive. Otherwise still a wonderful car I am sure will have awesome resale. & go for the smart key!

  • Just bought and loving it. - 2010 Nissan Sentra

I love my new Nissan. Ive never bought a new car and had a little bit of sticker shock, but bought mine for a very good deal and have been impressed with the quality and the overall feel of driving. Very good looking car, and very good on your wallet. My first car was a 1999 Nissan Sentra, and I plan on sticking with them for years to come!

  • Best Car for the Money - 2010 Nissan Sentra

I LOVE this car. I upgraded from a 2006 Sentra that I also got new off the lot. I researched cars for literally a year before finally deciding on this one. Other choices were the Honda Civic and Mitsubishi Lancer among others. Major upgrades on this car over the past Sentras. I love the sportier look of the SR with the underbody kit and the interior comfort. This car has EVERYTHING on it that I wanted, but my favorite feature is the CVT. Seamless driving means more power and faster pickup on the highway. Getting 30 mpg.

I bought my first Nissan 3 years ago. Nissan altima. After having 2 bad accidents the second one totaled it out! Both accidents no one was hurt which made me a Nissan buyer forever! I miss my altima! Great gas mileage 33 mpg! Roomy. Quiet and nice on the freeway! You will be become a Nissan buyer for ever take my word! Thank you Nissan for saving my husbands life!

  • Great Car, better than Corolla I owned - 2010 Nissan Sentra
    By -

I have owned this car for a month now and have to say I am very pleased with this vehicle. I traded my 2009 Toyota Corolla in for this car and I have no regrets doing so. From day one I had issues with my Corolla. I cannot say the same about my Sentra. I am currently averaging about 32mpg with 50% city and 50% highway driving. CVT is very smooth.

  • 2010 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S - 2010 Nissan Sentra

Just picked up my 2010 Nissan Sentra S. The features that come with the vehicle is amazing The stereo sounds awesome. I am extremely comfortable in the car and I am 6 feet tall and 315 lbs. The vehicle seems very well built and the 2.0 liter engine shifts flawlessly and the car has good acceleration. I paid after the year end rebate and negotiation $15,500 for the car and $1295 for the 7 year/100,000 top of the line genuine Nissan extended warranty. I expect to keep this car for a long long time. It was an excellent purchase and so much better than the civic and corolla.

  • Big Little Car - 2010 Nissan Sentra

This is a fun car to drive, very spacious for a small vehicle. Dash design is very good, all necessary items easy to read and reach. We are getting 28 Mpg in town and 33 on the highway. The horn could be louder.

  • The Sentra SR surprised me - 2010 Nissan Sentra
    By -

First off, I would recommend anyone to use the internet to get the best price for buying a new vehicle. I was looking at different vehicles & finally decided on the Sentra SR. I had 4 different Nissan dealerships sending me their quotes. Finally I had one send me a quote of 1% under dealer invoice price, plus two $500.00 dollar rebates, zero percent finance & 2,000 to trade in my 2001 Mazda Protege. I could not pass up that deal & went for it. By bringing in copies of the e- mails there was no need to haggle for a price & the buying process is hassle- free. I did pay extra for the extra 7 yr warranty since I will be keeping the car a long time.
