  • Am I driving on a Cloud??? - 2007 Nissan Murano

Well, after testing the market for a new automobile I chose the Nissan Murano SL. The suspension as well as the transmission is extremely smooth and feels as though were driving on a cloud. The stylish fashion definitely has the "it" as we travel down the road and people break necks to have a look! I chose the glacier white pearl and tinted the two front windows to match the rest of the Murano. This just tops it off on the looks and gives added protection from the hot Texas sun. If you want an automobile that exceeds expectations with an affordable price, look no further. You will not be unhappy with this selection, I guarantee you!

Have done all sorts of driving with this car, long and short trips very comfortable. One of my favorite cars.

  • CVT is great! - 2007 Nissan Murano
    By -

The CVT gives a smooth and powerful acceleration. Ive never had any problem passing another vehicle quickly. The SE was rated as giving a choppy ride due to the CVT, but I dont feel it that way. Its not obvious at all when the transmission changes gears. We travel alot and have over 65,000 miles on our 2007.

I drove all the other SUVs that I could find that interested me. This one won me over hands down to all the rest. I bought the SL loaded with everything except the navigation system. I was impressed with the quality and detail that Nissan puts into their cars. This vehicle is very well made and just a great ride, etc. If you have not given this car a test drive you should do yourself a favor and drive this one before you buy.

  • wonderful surprise - 2007 Nissan Murano

I have no idea why Edmunds dislikes the CVT. Maybe Nissan fixed its short- comings since the early days. I find it untra-smooth and responsive at any speed. Neither do I understand their so-so review of Muranos Bose stereo. Im a bit of an audiophile and cant imagine anything sounding any better. First 4 tanks Im getting 20+ mpg mostly around town. It is amazingly quiet. I cant figure out why its not at the top of everyones list.

  • Last of the 2007s - 2007 Nissan Murano

Neither my wife or myself liked the 2009 for interior space or ergonomics so we bought a new 2007 loaded SL in Merlot with chrome wheels. Love it. Roomy because they resisted putting three rows of seats in. At low speeds the trans seems to drag the car down rather than freewheel like it does at high speeds. Mileage adequate at this point but switching to Mobil one synthetic seems to be good for two MPG in these cars so Ill switch after break in. The Bose is mediocre but then, Im an audio snob. No other complaints. My wife prefers my car to her 2000 RX 300.Get compliments on the cars beauty. Good road handling with touring suspension. We like it.

  • Has it all and more - 2007 Nissan Murano

Love this SUV. I traded my BMW 330 for this. I have no regrets. This little hot number is sporty, luxurious with leather and bose stereo and thats just a few extras. Smooth ride, handles great, fun to drive on tight curvy roads. Gas mileage is average. I usually am never satisfied with any car but my little Murano is a winner. I will have it for a long time.

  • A few Improvements I would make - 2007 Nissan Murano
    By -

I have had my Murano almost 3 years now. I have loved this car. CVT I love, I drive my car in town for a living and I average almost 21 mpg. Seats are comfortable. I find the maintenance display troubling regarding the low tire pressure. I am suddenly having drivetrain issues that the dealer cant seem to fix, and the brakes are the most squeaky brakes I have ever had. The paint seems to chip and scratch very easily.

  • A Wise Consumer Choice For Me - 2007 Nissan Murano

The Murano wasnt on my radar screen for a new SUV. I had planned on buying a Honda CR-V. But my wife test drove one and I loved. At her request, I also drove it and loved. It was in my driveway within 24 hours.
