I was so impressed with its many features and comfort that while I was waiting for an Infiniti to be transfered from another dealer I decided to take it for a drive. I instantly fell in love with it and decided to purchase it. It now has 57K miles and still running and looking brand new! All the electronic equipment is in great working condition! If you are in the market for a new car dont buy one until you have test drove a maxima! great perfomer with one annoying problem - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By D. A. Parry - November 29 - 4:06 amThe Maxima is well designed, fun to drive and overall it performs well. It has some giddyap, looks great and gets good mileage. The biggest problem is the turning radius. Its a complete joke. I cant believe that Nissan engineers could not have corrected this problem. Youll find tractor trailers that have a better turning radius. Also, beware if you get the vehicle in black - the low to the ground Maxima attracts road gravel, stones, etc., that mar up the front grill finish - very noticeable. The dealer quoted me $800 to repaint. Get the bra. Also, the location of the charger outlet is in an awkward position and the cheap plastic cover breaks easily.

Fast and Fun - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By Keith - November 4 - 10:36 pmI have been very happy with my Maxima SL since I bought it 20,000 miles ago. It has great acceleration, handling and a quiet smooth ride. The gas mileage is acceptable for the type and performance. I had a few minor quality issues initially, but the dealer has been very good about fixing them. I do a lot of driving and theyve done a good job of keeping the road and wind noise down. I looked at a lot of vehicles in my price range and this had the best combination of performance, ride, and interior room. I have been very satisfied with the selection.

From BMW to This! - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By Squeaky - October 15 - 10:00 amI went from a BMW 325i to the Maxima SL and love it! Considered both the SE and SL models, and the SL for me was by far the best luxury ride. If you want a sporty ride and handling, then go with the SE. The Maxima has the BEST pickup (265 HP engine), luxurious leather interior, and stylish exterior. The new Skyview Sunroof is cool! My son influenced me purchasing the Elite package because he loves the rear bucket seats, rear heated seats, and sun shade. Its 1 classy car!

By discountexpo$$ - October 9 - 10:00 amI am a loyal Nissan owner for over 12 yrs. 91 240sx, 85 maxima, 2000 maxima, and now 2004 maxima 3.5 SL. I got this car fully loaded but w/ out navigation since I dont have a problem finding my way around town. This is the best overall maxima yet. Interior is roomy, plenty of trunk space, comfortable, sleek, and very modern comtemporary design overall. Bose systems is great! Acceleration is smooth w/ a quite comfortable ride. My wife loves it! Great family car and reliability is the best in its class.

Sports performance coupled with luxory, in my opinion, give this car the highest rating in its class. Ive been driving this car for 8 months now and I havent found one inconsistency. I have other drivers in beamerz and benzs doing double takes. I love this car!

Overjoyed - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By smpa - September 27 - 2:00 amWeve had our 04 Maxima for five months and every morning it is such a pleasure to drive to work. The Bose sound system is wonderful. The size and comfortably of the interior is also a real pleasure when transporting others. The car handles very well in any kind for weather.

Not Bad! - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By Mangtas - September 22 - 10:00 amOwned it for 3 weeks now so, I think its time to write a review. I was a bit disappointed on the the first 3 days after I picked up the car. I found a broken (split) rubber molding on the upper right corner of the rear right passenger door. I was surprised that Nissan didnt catch this problem while conducting their quality assurance on this at the factory. But the staff at Extreme Motors really did an excellent job of fixing the problem. They ordered the part for me right away and fixed the problem as soon as the part arrived. The quality of the repair was excellent.

Bad Max - 2004 Nissan Maxima
By Carrie Johnson - September 2 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd Maxima and this 2004 is just great. I have had both men/women stop and ask what year is the car and how do I like it. The only thing I can say is that the car is "Great". Nissan really did out do their selfs making this model and should they keep up they will have a great edge on the car market. This is my (7) new car and (3) have been Maximas, as long as Nissan makes a great car I will purchase one.
