Overview & Reviews
A new grille, front fascia and headlights, designed to provide a "greater sense of luxury," as well as smoother body cladding and dechromed taillights update the Montero. A bigger (3.8 liter) V6 adds some much-needed power to this 4,700-pound SUV.
- High-quality interior materials, sharp interior design, large cargo capacity, excellent off-road capability.
- Serious lack of power compared to rivals, mediocre on-road handling, useless third-row seat.

The SUV you can rely on, FOREVER! - 2003 Mitsubishi Montero
By Eric Jin - February 16 - 2:00 amThe exterior appearance of this SUV was the primory reason I bought. It really looks and drives tough. With all options loaded, this SUV can really perform. It has the largest sunroof amount all SUVs. The manul and automatic transmission combination makes driving more fun. Spare wheel attached on the back is the right way for a real SUV supposed to look like!
