Overview & Reviews
The RX-8 is an all-new car for 2004. Its arrival marks the return of Mazda's rotary engine to the U.S. market. Priced less than Nissan's 350Z, the RX-8 also offers four doors and a usable backseat.
- Low base price, agile handling yet still comfortable enough for daily use, room for four in a pinch.
- Option packages can get expensive, iffy interior ergonomics.

my opinion on the 8 - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By angies8 - November 21 - 10:00 amI have had the car 1 month and have put about 1000 miles on it. It is a very nice sports car. Since it has a few miles on it I am exploring the upper rev band and its plenty fast for me. It has a few blind spots in and you have to pay close attention with lane changes on the freeway. The air conditioner is also weak for a high temp area. I am concerned since with depreciation now Mazda has announced it will buy back the first 3000 rx8s from dissatisfied customers because of the misstated horsepower numbers.I think I will keep the car and accept the $500.00 offer along with the free maintanence offer instead. But I have until Oct 1 the make up my mind.

21 again - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By SinCityRX8 - November 15 - 2:00 amIts been 17 years since I had a sports car, almost forgot how much fun it was to drive one. Ok, ok, so there is some debate on whether its a sports car or not, but sure drives like one. Great styling too, and is a head turner. Hearing and seeing the rpm at 6000+ is just a music to my ears. Gas milage? Been having too much fun to notice, but am sure will notice it sooner or later.

Drive one -- if you dare - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By alabammer slammer - November 4 - 10:00 amThe most affordable Sports Car in America. Fast, fun, and certainly gets the looks. The RENESIS rotary sound best between 6000 & 9500 rpms, and gives you the impression it is begging for more. 6 speed tranny is silky smooth. Visit www.rx8club.com to learn what other owners such as myself have to say about their awesome rides.

remi runs wild - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By remi red - November 4 - 10:00 amGet the best radar detector available on the market cuz youll need it. This car just wants to goooooooooo. So much fun to drive. Makes me want to get up to go to work in the morning. The guys at work want me to put spinners on it, but I get enough attention without. Everyone wants to race me to see what this car can do. I love it cuz I blow them away. Corvettes, eat my dust!

Review Mazda RX 8 - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By Jan Miller - October 23 - 10:00 amLove the car -- only annoying feature -- the tire pressure light and the fuel cap warning lights are on all the time. Even if I put air in my tires -- in a day or two -- the light is on and off again. Often after getting gas the fuel cap warning light comes on and I do have the cap on right. Warning lights too sensitive.

Glad I waited! - 2004 Mazda RX-8
By Randy Leonard - October 9 - 10:00 amI had been debating on what car to buy for several months and had decided to buy the Infiniti G-35, but after seeing the RX-8, the decision was made. I have the first one in the city I live in because the dealership just opened last Saturday. As a matter of fact, I was the first person to buy a car there. And I love the car! It has a lot of power and the look is great. Ive had several people ask me about my "fancy imported sports car". It also drives great and is one of a kind. No regrets here.
