Overview & Reviews
Lincoln has discontinued the V6 engine for 2006 and trimmed the car's remaining styles down to a single V8 Sport model, which includes a chrome grille with body-color surround, round foglamps and body-color rear license plate trim. Updated wheel designs and two new option packages round out the changes for '06.
- Confidence-inspiring steering and handling, standard V8 delivers plenty of smooth and quiet power, comfortable and roomy interior, optional THX-certified sound system.
- Lack of a manual transmission keeps it from true sport sedan status, build quality lags behind German and Japanese competitors, not as nimble as other sport sedans in its class.

As Good AS My 3 and 7 Series - 2006 Lincoln LS
By krscpa - October 15 - 5:40 amAfter two months this is the Ultimate Driving Machine. On par with my 1997 BMW 328ic and 1999 BMW 740i. Great balance in performance and luxury. Gas mileage was better than expected at average of 24 MPG. THX/NAV system sounds excellent and NAV system is user friendly. Interior very classic and comfortable.

Buy one - do it! - 2006 Lincoln LS
By massimo - June 16 - 1:46 pmI never thought that this car had everything I was looking for, but it does and I still look forwrd to driving it. In the last 10 years I have had 6 BMWs (an M3 and the rest 5- series) and 2 Saabs. To be honest, the beemers were overhyped, the Saabs were awesome, but were always in thw shop. This LS is great. The looks are understated and the motor has a strong powerband.
