Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Lexus Makes the Best SUVs. Period. - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

If you want the best SUV, then you want to buy a Lexus. This is my third Lexus SUV. I opted for the 450H F Sport model and could not be happier. Pros: ample power, yet great MPG. Gorgeous styling. Very comfortable interior. Unmatched reliability. Cons: nav system so-so; not cheap. It is funny to read those negative reviews about the Lexus RX. My guess is some of them are written by BMW/MB/Audi dealers. Lexus pioneered the luxury SUV and has been the sales leader in luxury SUVs from the beginning. It is obvious their European competitors are doing everything they can to knock down Lexus. The styling of the new Lexus RX is amazing. If you take the BMW/MB/Audi SUVs, remove their nameplates and their styling for many models are exactly the same. No originality! None! If you live in any metro area, 300HP is ample power. You do not need 500HP to drive around town! Bottom line is that if you want a great SUV that has a smooth ride and is reliable, go with Lexus. Lexus RX has been the best selling SUV for many good reasons. Lexus buyers are educated enough to know why Lexus is better than the rest.

  • Some features could be better, IMHO - 2007 Lexus RX 350

The best compared to all other SUVs this size. Ride is great. But some serious features are lacking for somthing this pricey. I use hands free a lot and compraed to BMW and MB, the bluetooth features are at least one generation behind and need upgrading. Cannot dynamically download your cell phones phone book, have to register one contact at a time into the cars phone book which is a security risk, no way to add pause, wait etc to phone numbers. Have to add maintenance schedule manually, no self diagnosis as in other imports.

  • DROWNING NOISE THEY SAY!!!!!!! - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Purchased a 2016 RX 350 March 2016. Love the new look and the new changes that were made to this SUV. This is my 4th RX I have owned. I love the way they look and handle. Except this one has a noise when I excelerate, know mater what speed. It sounds like a vibration coming from underneath like the transmission. Lexus calls it a drowning sound. All I can say is it drives me nuts. Totally unexceptable.Lexus claims there is no fix at this time. Be ware and be sure to test drive at length. Not happy ......

  • Best RX to date - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Coming from 2005 RX; I had compared with 2009 MDX, 2009 Veracurz, 2009 ML350, 2009 MKX. 2010 RX350 was best for what I/wife needed. AWD. Gen 6 Navigation, adoptive headlights, comfortable drive [standard 18’s], and perfect size [not too big or small] were primary reasons for the purchase. 2010 RX is noticeably improved in reduction of noise from both wind and road. Power and gas mileage is probably best in class as I have averaged 20 in mix driving. And suspension is not too hard or soft and it is perfectly tuned for what I want. Steering is another huge improvement over the 2005 and it is no longer “light” but has little more feel.

  • diehard jeep fan who crossed over - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

After only driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee for 25 plus years we decided on the Lexus RX 350 because its a beautiful looking car and we wanted something different. I keep looking in the reviews to see does anyone else have the same complaint as us.......the drivers seat sits way too low. Visibility is terrible. Thank goodness we got the navigation which shows whats behind you when backing up.When the drivers window is rolled down and you put your arm out, your arm has to rest on an upward angle. I saw someone state they had an accident,no wonder! It really makes me nervous on the highway. True,I am short but my husband who is 6 foot says the same thing.

  • Okie dissapointment! - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

My wife and I went from a wonderful 07 to this cumbersome 10. The ride is rougher, window noise, a loss of 4 to 5 MPG, and it drives like a truck. The turning radius is greater, the steering is slow to respond, the acceleration is OK but the vehicle seems so big Im afraid to goose-it. We screwed-up! My wife and I both wish we would have kept the 07. The 07 was nimble, quick and fun to drive. The 10 is none of the above. One positive is I have a little more leg room in the drivers seat. The information panels are hard to see and select. Auto wipers did not come with the 10. The bluetooth is difficult to hook-up three layers down in the console. My advice dont trade.

  • First Impressions - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

We traded an ES-350 for the RX. Mostly positive results. Smoother, quieter ride with limited wind and road noise. Hitting some potholes will generate a quick rattle or two, but thats it. Comfortable seats, Recessed Nav screen at eye level and mouse controller a good plus, helps for safe driving. Interior storage much improved, including a cubby area under the center console. Mixed driving gets just shy of 22 MPG using 89 Octane. Plugins a bit awkward in lower console, but that location helps keep the cords hidden and out of sight when not in use. Neither our ES or Limited Avalon before that had side moldings, so no biggie for us. We are enjoying the car.

  • Older models are better - 2015 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I found out about some things on the 2015 compared to my 2010 RX.. 2010 rx has moving headlights when turning, 6 disk CD player, Hi beam auto dimming, clearer Bluetooth when talking to some one Via Car to cell ph. (sounds tinny on the 2015) . The back doors on the 2010 has larger pockets then the 2015. The 2015 does not have any of these things. looks like the only advantage to me is the blind spot monitor. The Garage door opener is in a better location on the 2010, It is now on the mirror which can move when using it. The inside of the head lights fog a little when high humid on the 2015. You can see it when the lights are on. These are my observations when talking to other people and

  • Love This Car.. Hate the Tires!!! - 2008 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This car is a dream to own. Everything about it exudes class and refinement except the tires. They are very noisy. I dont experience any wind noise but a lot of tire noise at highway speed. Around town it is a gem. Very good acceleration for an SUV. When the time comes a difeerent set of tires will be put in their place

  • Smart balance between comfort and performance - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Coming from 2007 RX that we had for a while to 2015 RX that lasted 8 months to 2016 RX. 2016 is a huge step forward, regaining light feel of the 2nd gen, bringing back lovely engine sound and finally having great, deep and comfortable seats. Its not the car that wants to hurry up but it will hassle when pushed with crisp steering feel and much less leaning compared to both models before it. Not sure about all the negative reviews on the net, got to be the grill influence. Get beyond it and it grows on you quickly with smart balance between comfort and performance.
