Happy New LR3 Owner - 2006 Land Rover LR3
By Inland Northwest Fun - September 10 - 3:00 amI recently purchased my LR3 and am really glad I did. About 2 weeks after I bought it, we got 23 inches of snow in three days. My LR3 handled the weather incredibly well, while other SUVs were stuck on the side of the road.

Love It - 2006 Land Rover LR3

I searched for a 7 passenger vehicle for my family and was two seconds away from buying an Acura MDX when we stumbled on the Land Rover. I am so happy and love everything about it.

By Dean - August 14 - 10:53 amThis SUV is the best in the market; its just right in everything (very roomy and not too big). Get the third row seat it is worth it. If your wife does not like driving minivans or the big 7 passenger SUVs then look no further. My wife loves driving it all the time & I love the power and the way it handles curves. In addition to all the perks this car is workhorse too. If you have a family with more than one child this is the car for you. If it isnt for redundancy I would by another one in a heartbeat

King of the Road - 2006 Land Rover LR3

Was concerned about reliability, but after a bad dealership customer service experience at Volvo, I traded my vehicle in for a demo 2006 LR3. The ride is phenomenal. Im 61, 205 lbs and theres nothing like Landrover headroom, they are second to none. The seats are firm and supportive, and the instrumentation clear. An extremely technologically advanced vehicle as far as stereo, electronic gizmos i.e. rain sensor wipers, backup alarm, air suspension, ride dial and things Im still discovering! The lure was all servicing is complimentary during warranty. Cant wait for the Minnesota snows!

This is my thrid Land Rover and certainly wont be my last. I am very happy with the design improvements and the fact that Ford has allowed Land Rover to remain Land Rover (Thank You Bill!)

L# HSE - 2006 Land Rover LR3
By jpanti - August 28 - 10:30 amThe L3 HSE that I bought I use it on and off road, and its great on both. Mine is a diesel engine, so the fuel economy is great. You exchange power for economy, which isnt that bad, since its still a powerful engine. The comfort makes you overlook the possible flaws it may have as far as the interior. Overall, a great buy!

Excellent car that will be missed - 2006 Land Rover LR3
By LandRoverWA - January 13 - 2:56 amPurchased new and kept for 4 years and 52,000 miles. No reliability issues, got between 17-20 mpg depending on how loaded the car was. The flat load floor with all rows of seats folded is excellent. Decent navigation system and excellent off-road capabilities. No regrets. I have no idea why CR rates this car so poorly, it was 20x more reliable and better than our 02 Disco II.

Very good experience with LR3 - 2006 Land Rover LR3
By Patrick - August 30 - 8:06 pmI have driven an LR3 since May of 2006. The vehicle is excellent as both an off road vehicle and an on road luxury car/truck. I have taken it on long trips (San Diego to Yellowstone etc) and it was a joy to drive. I have been off road with in and in bad weather and messy muddy roads, and it performed flawlessly. The SE7 can fit 7 comfortably. The options work well and the window space provides great views and visibility. The footprint is not so large like a Tahoe etc so its easier to park and maneuver. I strongly recommend this vehicle, and while premium priced, is worth it for long hauls, off road, or a night on the town and taking out clients. Best car I have ever owned.
