Kia introduces a completely redesigned and much improved Spectra as a midyear 2004 model. However, both the old and new versions are available this year.
- Long range warranty, redesigned version sports a spunky engine, well-finished interior and standard side-curtain airbags.
- Suspension a bit soft, weak performance on outgoing model, ABS optional only on most expensive models.

By Stylish - August 29 - 10:00 amMy second Kia in one year. I bought a 2003 Kia Sedona and love it, now I looked into the All New Spectra. I love it. Looks great, good on gas and the engine is peppy. If youre in the market give Kia a try. I paid $10,900 for the EX need I say more.

i love my kia - 2004 Kia Spectra
By adp1650 - March 23 - 2:00 ami bought my kia in august 03 as the first new vechicle i have owned since 1974. i am very satisfied with its performance altogether. it has very good furl economy, handles well,and good pickup. the only things im not crazy about is that there no ashtrays in the back seat and when in park the front ashtray is almost inacessiable.

By jimwags - February 26 - 8:10 pmso far at 3000 miles my spectra is on par with the 91 corolla i bought new then traded for the 05 kia. it has more power than i expected and highway manners are better than the 05 corolla i almost paid 2500.00 more for with less features than spectra. mpg hiway is now up to 36.8 i am looking for 38.5 @70 mph. great warranty on this car worth looking at seriously............

No Quality Control - 2004 Kia Spectra
By tschux - February 2 - 2:00 amI bought my Spectra brand new, the air conditioner went out on the drive home. Parked it on my driveway and noticed a puddle of oil under the car, after owning the car for 30 minutes!!! The car has been in the shop 6 times in 9 months, all different things wrong with it. Spend a few extra $$ and get something other than this car.
