Overview & Reviews
Second-row captain's chairs are now available on the LX, while all models get larger rear drum brakes.
- Excellent value, roomy interior with lots of cupholders and storage bins, solid build quality, lengthy warranty coverage.
- Handling and steering response could be better, missing a few key minivan features, ABS not standard, below-average fuel mileage.

my new van - 2005 Kia Sedona
By William Anderson - March 5 - 1:33 ami like the style and handling of this vehicle. Ive been driving 36 years and have driven almost every type of vehicle on the road. To me this is one of the best. the handling is not like a sports car but to me it is better than a blazer i had. the ride is extremely comfortable. the outside noise level in very minimal. the sound system and air conditioning is very good. the seats are the most comfortable ive set in in years. even the ride in the back seating is very comfortable. the removal of the back seating is great, not as heavy as a gmc van i had. all in all a great van.

lots of minivan for the money - 2005 Kia Sedona
By KT - October 10 - 6:10 amMy wife and I traded a 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager for an 05 Kia Sedona due to transmission problems. Right off the bat I was impressed--build quality and interior design were light years ahead of what I expected. Nice ride, too. Handling is decent. I have to give credit on the interior as this is the 05 Sedonas best feature. Plenty of cupholders, 12v outlets, and storage spots. Seats are comfortable. We took this van to the beach about a week after we bought it, and it was a perfect match. I never thought I would "want" to drive a minivan but this one changed all that. Great sage green exterior paint job. Easy on the eyes.

Underpromise and Overdelivery - 2005 Kia Sedona
By Myrna T. Pagan - September 6 - 11:53 amWeve owned our 2005 Sedona since Oct. last year and so far it has over delivered our expectations. Nice torquey V-6, comfortable ride, excellent road manners for a vehicle its class, very quiet engine, great a/c, silk-shifting transmission. Great curb appeal, killer warranty (10 yrs/ 100,000 miles), and the sales/service-maintenance experience has been the best weve ever had with any Dealer. Our decision to buy the Sedona came from our experience with our other car. A 2002 Kia Optima with 70k miles driven in less than 3 yrs. This was a "no- brainer" decision.

We love it - 2005 Kia Sedona
By tom - July 24 - 7:20 amI told myself Id never buy a minivan, but here I am. I looked at quite a few before deciding on the Sedona. My biggest thing of course was safety, but it also had to be loaded. I got mine for undr $22K-with everything. No other van could come close to that.

2005 KIA SEDONA LX - 2005 Kia Sedona
By DIANNA - May 31 - 11:46 pmTHIS IS THE BEST MINIVAN I HAVE EVER DRIVEN. IT HAS GREAT PICK UP AND HAS GREAT GAS MILEAGE FOR A MINIVAN. I LOVE TO DRIVE IT SO MUCH THAT I NOW ASK TO PICK THINGS UP FROM THE STORE OR TAKE ANYONE ANYWHERE THEY NEED TO GO. IT IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND MY FAMILY LOVES IT AS MUCH AS I DO. BY THE WAY THIS IS THE FIRST BRAND NEW VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED IN MY 35 YEARS OF DRIVING. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS VEHICLE TO EVERYONE. I AM A SINGLE GRANDMOTHER THAT LOVES TO TAKE HER GRANDCHILDREN EVERYWHERE SO AS YOU CAN SEE I DRIVE IT A LOT.
