The Kia Optima receives only minor revisions for the 2004 model year. The grille has been revised, 16-inch wheels are now standard on V6 models and the alloy wheels on the EX (last year's SE) have been redesigned. Finally, an in-glass antenna replaces the old power mast style unit from last year, but only on the EX and the LX with the optional cassette/CD audio system.

  This my 3rd kia optiam we love them.I get from 25 to 30 miles per gallon.We enjoy driving them.We have the same features as more expensive cars.good car for the value.

  seem to me I steering to the right a lot on this car. Maybe caused it have Low performances tires. Also the road noise is bad aint a really big fan of that.

  For the money, it is the best car I ever owned. Underated by the media. Ready to buy their new, best model now. KIA is gaining momentum very quickly.

  I bought an 04 Kia Optima EX 4 cyl. from a used car dealer in August of last year. This a GREAT car! Ive been told it looks like from far away a Jag so I call it my Kia-Jag. Interior is great, power everything,leather, fog lights, wood grain, 6 speaker Infinity Sound system with a sunroof but I dont like the gas mileage. For a Kia I was thinking it was gonna be better but I should have done more research. 17/ city 23/highway was not what I was looking for, but hey you get what you pay for. Hope this was helpful

  This is the first automatic I have owned in years. The car has style, a great sound system and is worth the money. Good value by far, for what you get. Many come up and ask me how do I like the car. Are there any problems? I tell them for about $9k less than the Japanese brands, with the same features and no problems its a good value. I will say the service is by far # 1 on their agenda - they do a good job of pleasing the customer. The only bad feature is outdated colors for the newer cars. We had all the green and dark grey cars to last for another century. Especially when you want to attract younger buyers. Take a tip from Toyo and Nissan when its color time Kia and Hyundai!

  Looked at the Optima as a last resort as a more resonable alternative to the higher priced imports and have been more than pleased with my decision. Excellent price, outstanding warranty, and best dealership support Ive seen. You a get a lot of car for the price. I would recommend this car to anyone looking at the higher priced foreign imports and domestics.

  The KIA is an excellent Car for the money. The warranty is exceptional. I would recomend the KIA for the money, quiet comfortable interior with a smooth quiet ride. Excellent fit and finish with style on the exterior.

  Great Commuter Car - 2004 Kia Optima

  I drive approx. 150 miles a day in my car. The ride is quite comfortable and I think I got alot of features for the money. For the $15.5K on the sticker I could either drive a stripped sedan either from the US or Japan. I am quite pleased with the quality "feel". -Good acceleration -Quiet ride -Around 30 mpg highway -Comfortable seating
