This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

Tall men, beware!!!! Drivers and front pass. seats are VERY NARROW and do not adj. well. Front seats are NOT COMFORTABLE for a taller person with larger frame!!! Major tire issues: odd size, so far only Goodyears and Bridgesstone avail. Flat spots from shipping cause poor ride, swapped tires off another car twice!!!

Priced like an Lexus IS300 or BMW 325, size and performance closer to Lexus GS or BMW 5 series. Loads of extras for a price in the mid-30s. Comfortable, quiet and fun to drive.

This car handles superbly. It styling suggest speed and theres plenty of it. But if you are heavy footed the gas mileage is horrible. They need to find a way to improve city mileage averages. Combined driving gets close to 20mpg. Strict city drive about 10mpg. That is horrible. But the handling and overall performance at this price cannot be beat. The instruments on the inside do look cheap.

Great car, Great performance. Just Great! I had this car for a month now and I still get goosebump every time I drive it. Plenty of power and room for the family.

My husband bought this car, I personally love driving it. It is bigger than a 3 series, drives just as well if not better than a 5 series. The first night we drove it, we drove in a severe blizzard, it drove so smoothly. No slipping, no worries. I feel so safe in this car, but it also has an amazing sound system. Get the basic sound system. No need for the more expensive one. Heated seats are a must.

Amazing car. Have the G35 with everything cept the Nav system (not worth 2k) and Sport Package (couldnt use those tires in the snow. Perfect ride, perfect features. Makes driving an great experience wether driving the empty turnpike at 80 or stop and go on my city commute to work.

I think your opinion of this car depends on what kind of car you are coming from. Exterior design - the car is stunning, a work of art, a head- turner. Interior design falls under a new episode from the Three Stooges. Some points to note: Contrary to what you have read, the 6 speed is not a slick shifter. It is notchy; it vibrates. I think that explains why it came after the automatic; it needs work.

I wasnt in a market for a car and I have always owned Nissan, but always wanted a G35. I bought my G35 for $3000 at 155000 miles because I know they last for very very long time. It has all the services done for the mileage on the car, Fully loaded nav (with 2008 updated disk $190), sunroof, reclining back seats, cd changer. I love how this thing drives after having a 155000 miles on it. It is still aggressive, when you step on it it moves. I have taken this car up to 125mph on a track with out a problem. All the feature works great without any problem. Even at 155000 miles, retail on this car is $11000. Over all I couldnt have asked for more, for the price I paid, it is a steal.
