This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Incredible Value in Sport and Performanc - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have an early model 2003 Coupe w/6MT, loaded w/o nav. I have enjoyed the car immensely, but it isnt without its issues. Fortunately, the overall character and quality of the car are well beyond what should be expected for the price. My previous car was an MB that probably developed expectations for refinement in the "little things" that the G35C did not achieve, at least not in this first year of production. It is great fun to drive, forgiving handling character, very nicely styled (and gets attention), and no major mechanical problems. Dont expect a sense of massive horsepower - the G35C is created in the character of the original 240Z.

This Infinity is sure to have a definate impact on the consumer looking for a good handling car. This isnt a BMW but its money well spent. Ride, conering and interstate crusing are top rated. I was in the market for a BMW 530I and changed my mind for this Infinity G-35 with the sports package. I havent looked back since. Actually , the looks alone are worth it as people seem not to know exactly what it is yet.

  • No buyers regrets - 2003 Infiniti G35

After much study & evaluation of BMWs, A4, CTS,Jag X,LS,SAAB, S-80 I finally made the cut to the G35 and I dont regret it at all. All the above are decent cars, but the G is far and away the best driving and looking. The power, style (garnet red)w/ all the features, aero, premium, xenons, htd seats, makes driving a plus. Handles excellent and the motor - what a gem- 260 hp, ready to rock n roll.

I put about 350 miles on my new white\black coupe in just three days of un filled driving fun. The power of the coupe is much smoother than the sedan. Handling and response is very good. They fixed the light on the clock so it is a bit brighter than on the sedan. The seats are fantastic, and the sound system is second to none. The ride and handling is very German in nature. A lot of car the $$. This is much sporter than the BMW coupe which has more back seat room and a tad bit better fit and finish. If you get a chance to drive one, you will want one.

  • The New G Coupe - 2003 Infiniti G35

11/5/02 Got my coupe yesterday. Never bought an infinity before but it was a very pleasant experience. The Car is beautiful. Theres nothing like it on the street. Mine is Black with graphite interior 5 speed auto. Build quality is excellent. I was surprise to see that rear seating room is big enough for a six footer..... The Car is powerful,it handles better than a 2000 Mustang GT and as good as a C-4 model vette. Since the roads are fairly poor in New Orleans the ride is a little bouncy. However, if you are use to driving a car with any type of sport suspension its not a not a bad ride. Buy one and you wont be disappointed. The Brakes are great.

  • BMW BEATER - 2003 Infiniti G35

Ok. I have test driven tons of luxury sedans(ie 2003 lexus es 300 and bmw 330 stick shift) and none come close to this one. My car is fully loaded: Blk ext, Blk leather int., premium package, custom wood, pop up nav, winter package, aero package, aerodynamic package, perma plate, limo tint on back windows and chrome wheels. All of that plus a phenomenal engine for low 40s. I get more stares in this car than my friends in their boring BMWs. This car feels like i am driving a stick shift with 260 HP/torque. Now I could complain about the gas but the engine is bigger than most small trucks, esp that whack 3 liter bmw x5.

  • One smokin fun car! - 2003 Infiniti G35

This is a fun, eye-catching car! I get a lot of "hey, cool car" comments all over town. Maintenance has been minimal, but do expect to pay luxury car prices for service and parts when doing std periodic servicing. The stereo is great, the sight lines are fine. I love the cars power - zoom- zoom!

I bought this car as my "fun to drive" after owning several BMW 3 series. It is a very good and sporty car, but I got rid of it after two months. The ride quality, power, suspension, and transmission is adequate. However, it does not compare to the BMW name. I now have a 2002 Z-3 that I am in love with. I always thought they were too small, but its a perfect fit even at 6 feet.

  • Awesome Car! - 2003 Infiniti G35

Bought my G35 a short while ago from a dealer and it had 60K miles on it. I have had no trouble with it. The CD player works perfectly, everything is in top shape although I have a few minor areas on the car where the paint is starting to crack, not sure how to fix it but other than that, no complaints. The interior is kind of bland but I bought a Walnut Burl dash kit from wood dash experts, has it installed by myself in 2 hours and it looks better than the wood dashes on the higher end BMWs and the such.

    I really wish I just bought a 350Z instead
