Swimming with sharks - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
By Codascoram - December 27 - 10:00 amI compared this car to the Acura RSX, the Chevy Camaro, Toyota Solara, and Honda Accord Coupe. The shark has better handling than any of the above. Better 0-60, 20-60, and 0-40 times than all but the Camaro. The ride is rough, and the interior is a joke. The dash is obnoxious, and the stereo system is average. This car is the prettiest of the bunch, but looks arent everything. Its real hard to see out of the right side window when making turns. The mirror acts like a wall. The headlamps restrict night vision. Finally, it has NO crash test ratings. The NHSTA hasnt tested it. So technically, you could be purchasing a 20,000 coffin. Its a risk.

Unique, quick, and a overall good car - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
By PUN15HR - November 10 - 11:56 amIve now had my tiburon for 2 years, and I must say, overall Im very impressed. I have modified this thing past the point of unrecognizable and it takes to every mod like a pro. Car has had some issues, (that are known by every tiburon owner) clutch design is a p. O. S as well as the dual mass flywheel setup. Look into a conversion kit for best results. Window motors are known to go bad as well as a alignment issue and syncros (which I have replaced under warranty) overall good handling, great sound from the motor when modified, good acceleration and excellent style. Sure theres little kinks but they had to cheapen some parts to bring such a sports car at such a incredible price.. A+ to Hyundai

Only 4 years old and rusting - 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
By nfinitygrl - September 27 - 5:40 pmThis was my first new car and Ive completely loved driving it. Its fast, gotten me out of scary highway situations more than once and its never, ever given me mechanical problems. Ive kept up all maintenance diligently as I didnt want to void any of the warranties. The low profile tires are a bit pricey to replace but other than that, upkeep hasnt been bad. The car sits low and that helps increase chances of a cracked windshield, which Ive replaced once. But after having the car for only 4 years, it is rusting in 3 places. Hyundais warranty wont fix it as the 3 year paint warranty expired and the rust hasnt "perforated" the metal completely. Sadly, I will be replacing it :(

hyundai tiburon review - 2000 Hyundai Tiburon
By reece - September 15 - 2:00 amRuns great and fun to drive. However, pulls to the side when hitting a bump or pothole. Very bad in snow. In snow and sleet, drives like a rear wheel drive or does not go at all. great summer time car. fast and sporty!

Excellent value - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By ccrater4 - September 5 - 4:36 amI bought my Tiburon GT for $8000 about a year ago. Ive loved it since day one. It is over all an awesome car to drive. Although, it is not the fastest car. If you are looking for something to race it may not be for you. Its lack of power isnt justified by its fuel economy. I would expect better than 18 city from a 2.7L V6. Over all I would recommend this car to anyone. It is a great deal and is very fun to drive.

Love it but it hates me - 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
By Chelsea - September 2 - 10:00 amI love almost everything about this car but it seems to hate my guts. Bought it with about 90,000 miles on it and after about 6 months the problems started happening. New Clutch, New Timingbelt, was modified with a coldair intake before my purchase and had no cover so it would suck up water when it rained and the check engine light would pop on, front gas pipe leak, front and back oil valve seepage, cover on the moonroof broke, rear window washer broke, driver side window broke, etc. Basically it needs massive repairs every 1-2 months. Not sure if its just a lemon or not because I constantly have different mechanics telling me what great shape its in and how clean the engine is.

For the money its super - 2006 Hyundai Tiburon
By mike34293 - August 20 - 9:50 amThere isnt much to say except that there isnt anything on the market that competes with this car. Its short comings are minor and the quality is unbelievable.
