Overview & Reviews
The Hyundai Santa Fe has been redesigned for the 2007 model year. Compared to last year's model, the new Santa Fe is larger, safer, more powerful and more luxurious.
- Upscale interior with high-quality materials, competitive price, long warranty, many standard safety features, optional third-row seat.
- Overly firm ride on SE and Limited trims, automatic transmission sometimes slow to respond, unimpressive brakes.

Tough as nails - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Dave - December 1 - 1:48 amWe tend to be rough on vehicles. With six grandkids (five school age) riding to school each day, then an average of seventy to eighty miles per day being put on this vehicle, it has held up great. Any warranty issues were handled by the dealer with no problem. One hundred and sixty thousand miles and counting!

Great Mid Size SUV! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By DTrain - September 2 - 10:40 amPurchased for wife 12 months ago, she averages 19mpg city and on highway trips we are averaging 26.5mpg (500 mile trips). I dont know why other posts are lower, maybe we got a "good" one, we bought the FWD, not the AWD. Cuts through Wisconsin snow like butter, even with just FWD. SMOOTH and QUIET, I challenge you to find a smoother riding and quieter vehicle for under 30k. Fit and finish exceeded our expectations, our neighbor owns a Lexus RX330, I feel our Santa Fe matches the Lexus across the boards. Just a great value, Hyundai has definetly stepped up their game. We were initially scared to buy the Santa Fe because it was a "Hyundai", after one year, NO REGRETS, Great purchase!

why "hyundai" Ill tell you why - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jim - August 22 - 3:00 amill have to say i was skeptical when i bought my first korean car.but i convinced myself that the quality was there and I have not been disappointed. i fIrst bought the Azera, the absolute finest car I own..and i currently own a Lexus and BMW(big family)..all are recent models..these are both great cars..however..I needed another vehicle and chose to look at the sante fe for my wife..she loves it and so do I. I totally agree with the other reviews on gas mileage, and i get as advertised..on the first 3-4 tanks. i just bought on 12-31..but the styling and ride as well as the price i was out the door for 21500... it has close comparisons to the RX-330 and blows away competion at price/warranty

By Tommy Van - August 21 - 10:10 pmAn all around fun vehicle to drive. Impressive change from the previous design gives the appearance of a high class vehicle. 2nd Santa Fe Owned - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Jan - August 11 - 5:23 pmThis is the second Santa Fe I have owned. I loved the 1st (2001) and I love this one even more. I still own my 1st and it has 174,000 miles on it and few repairs. This 2007 model is fun to drive, comfortable, stylish and dependable. I have my oil changed at the dealership because they are comparable in price, but their service and customer service is the best Ive ever encountered. I wont be surprised if my next car is a Santa Fe also.

Hyundai has come a L-O-N-G way! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Michael Puzach - August 11 - 4:00 amWhen my wife and I decided to buy a small SUV as a 3rd vehicle, we first looked at the Hyundai Tucson. We liked it a lot but decided to also look at the Santa Fe. We were immediately impressed and after checking out all competitors, we bought our Limited AWD with XM and Premium Package fresh off the truck. After 1 month and 1500 miles I can say positively that the Santa Fe is a wonderful SUV. Its comfortable, well-built, and every bit as enjoyable to drive as our former Volvo XC90. The Santa Fe has the feel of a much more expensive vehicle. There are no rattles or squeaks and everything has a solid feel to it. Im a "car guy" and this Hyundai has not disappointed me.

One solid performer - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By the major - August 4 - 6:46 pmI test drove the Honda Pilot, CRV and Element and the Mazda CR7. None of them gave me the overall satisfaction I get from the Sante Fe. This car does everything well. The gas mileage is not bad when you consider the vehicle weighs 4300 lbs. I traded in a very temperamental 02 Audi Allroad for the Sante Fe and have no regrets.

Fantastic vehicle - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By JM - July 31 - 10:00 amI love my Santa Fe! I owned a 2007 Toyota RAV 4 for a month and traded it in for this fantastic vehicle. I dont recommend doing that, though. Lost some money. Lots actually. Toyota more expensive, Santa Fe a better value.Test drove Honda CRV, Saturn Vue, Subaru Forester and Outback. Forget the rest and go right for the Santa Fe. It is built solidly, quiet, great ride. Radio has a great sound. I feel like Im in a more expensive car. Found headrest uncomfortable, but just turned it around.
