Overview & Reviews
The 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe gets two new engines and six-speed transmissions that deliver both better performance and improved fuel economy. There are minor exterior styling revisions, including new taillights and grille. Inside, Bluetooth hands-free cell phone connectivity, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and a USB audio input jack are now standard on all models. The side curtain airbags now incorporate a rollover sensor. Finally, the third-row seat option has been dropped.
- Attractive interior, top-notch crash test scores, lots of features at an agreeable price, great warranty.
- Ride quality on SE and Limited models may be too firm for some buyers.

Great vehicle! - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By DHP - August 11 - 9:23 amI purchased the Santa Fe se v. 6 awd in April 2010 and now have almost 2500 miles on it. I was a little concerned about the gas mileage the first 1000 miles because it seemed low but as soon as it hit about 1500 the mpg jumped significantly. We took a long interstate drive and it averaged almost 25-26 mpg. I live in a city and it now averages about 21-22 which is very good for this size vehicle. Will try it out on a 1200 mile trip next week and see how it does. I will say that I love my Santa Fe. It is very easy for me to drive and it is very comfortable. It has plenty of storage compartments. I dont really have any complaints so far. I will Post a review again in a few more months.

Great Vehicle - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By PaPa Steve - April 23 - 10:43 amChecked out everything else prior, and I mean everything. Wife suggested Santa Fe and I reluctantly added it to the mix. (What can the Koreans possibly have to offer?) What a pleasant surprise. Fit, finish, comfort, performance, price & just plain fun to drive. Only major downside: My wife wont let me drive it, I have to take the Lexus to work!

Unexpectedly Great! - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By bodsman59 - January 20 - 4:03 pmMy wifes 2003 Subaru Forester was getting long in the tooth so we knew a replacement was in the cards. I drive an Explorer and she like sitting higher and safer, but wanted something smaller. We looked at Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner, but it was very pricey. Also looked at the new Kia 2011 Sorento. We both knew the Santa Fe was the right choice as soon as we drove it. More than enough power, posh and roomy interior, well built and fun to drive. My wife loves it and we were out the door under 23K on a 29K list price. I also like that its built in the USA. Never thought Id drive a Hyundai, but now my wife has to get up early or shell be driving the Ford.

Excellent - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bernardo - May 26 - 8:33 amI have just bought the Santa Fe for my wife and newborn son and I am amazed by the high quality and luxury features. Unbeatable price, big warranty, and better trim level. Was initially considering Toyota Highlander, but disapointed with price and low quality on test drive. Was starting to consider smaller SUVs with better trim, but was unable to scape the Santa Fe. My brother has a Tucson for 2 years now and he also loves his car. I guess we will be a hyundai family.

Appreciating Hyundai More, and More - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Dan - February 12 - 4:23 pmAfter getting two Elantras for my children, I knew I wanted another Hyundai. The new Santa Fe (holy faith) with the new four cylinder engine has given me 28 MPG on my road trips. The fold down seats in the rear have also allowed me transport sizable cargo. To go along with the decent MPG and cargo space, I got a price that I could afford (OTD at $22,500).

Luv my Hyundai Santa Fe - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Kim - November 14 - 4:03 pmI have been driving various Honda vehicles for the past 13 years. They have pretty much priced themselves out of the market(for what you get). And lets face the fact that a Honda drive like a Honda. I purchased the 2010 SE this past Saturday. I wanted something a bit more "luxurious" & want to feel that I am getting little bit more value for my money. Everyone I have spoken with who has a Santa Fe highly recommends this vehicle. I was sold after my test drive. Very comfortable & lots of space for everyone. I am impressed that the sticker said 20/26 for gas mileage. Very solid/safe/sporty suv!

Honda Girl Turned Hyundai - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Krystal - October 6 - 9:10 amMy first non-Honda car and I am impressed. This SUV appears to have a smaller trunk space than I am used to but not a show stopper. There are a/c vents on the sides of the door in the back, which causes the air to circulate better than being on the back of the center console for the back seaters. The ride is smooth and I dont hear the thumping sound that others are complaining about. I do have a concern with the exterior door handles as they seem like they arent too sturdy. All in all, I am very pleased!

Pleasantly Surprised - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Quiles - June 23 - 11:40 pmFirst purchase ever and the Santa Fe was not my first choice. However, after test driving and sitting in all areas of the vehicle, I fell in love with the comfort and ease of the car. Drives quietly, smoothly and has an awesome pick up for a 4 cyl. Gas mileage has been great. Body is sleek and classy. Two downfalls; some parts feel flimsy i.e. gas tank cover, moldings on doors below windows. Also, I have an unexplained muffled thumping sound from the cabin of the car.

Great Except For - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Moonman - June 13 - 3:30 pmGreat vehicle-except A) no protective covering on rear bumper as in 2009 models, B) and takes a lot of effort in order to lock steering wheel (180 degree turn of steering wheel). Lastly, no daytime running lights, reason unknown.. All controls easy to see, reach and use. I do mostly city driving and have gotten about 20 mpg thus far.

What a Joy - 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Lalita - May 16 - 11:40 amWe bought this car a week ago,I must say that I have never loved any car this much. We have been a Hyundai family since we started to buy vehicles and it is very hard for us to go for other brands though this time I looked at other vehicles as well, I am glad that we stuck with Hyundai. It is been great
