Overview & Reviews
A new stereo system with an integrated DVD-based navigation system is optional, as is XM Satellite Radio.
- Distinctive styling, unmatched off-road capability, stout drivetrain.
- Feels massive, poor visibility, some cheap interior materials, limited cargo room, horrible fuel economy.

My girlfriend LOVES my Hummer! - 2005 Hummer H2
By Hum1 - January 28 - 10:00 amVery fun vehicle to drive, rides as nice or nicer than my Expedition, big comfy seats, well placed ergos, panoramic view. Its like driving a tank in a parade every day. Onstar is a nice amenity to have. This is a vehicle you just love to own. It makes your commute fun...what more could you want?

2005 H2 - 2005 Hummer H2
By Patrick - March 15 - 5:09 pmIf you are looking for a vehicle that gets attention this is the one. If you are looking for something practical, go buy a Denali. I had a 2003 Denali XL before, got tired of it and traded for a 2005 H2. I like the way it handles, but the power and ride is not as good as the Denali. Also, it has limited cargo room and you loose a lot of storage space in the vehicle. A few other annoying items include the nav screen that point toward the passenger, no six disc changer, and a bouncy ride. I probably will go back to a 2007 Denali XL as soon as they come out.

Us and our Hummer - 2005 Hummer H2
By WALLEYE - January 21 - 10:00 amWe have gotten as high as 17 miles to the gallon of gas, the average is about 9 to 10 miles to the gallon, pulling a trailer. Like the view from inside, you can see everything. Front seats could be a little bit more comfortable. Otherwise it kinda lives up to its name.

Best all aroun Suv - 2005 Hummer H2
By Janis - December 30 - 2:37 amI am very happy with this vehicle. Have driven other Suvs Cadillac Escalade etc. and feel with the hummer you get more bang for the buck. Love the roomy interior and although it is a large car, I dont feel I have to many problems parking. Fuel is a draw back but the Cadillac escalade only gets an average 13.9 and runs on premium I am getting 11.00 and use regular. Except for fuel mileage I absolutely love this vehicle.

Truth about Hummer - 2005 Hummer H2
By Chris Garcia - December 18 - 11:54 pmAwesome truck!!!! Gets lots of attention, you must feel comfortable driving large vehicles to drive this daily. Terrible gas mileage, but the ride and power make up for it.

hummer - 2005 Hummer H2
By Lisa Klein - December 18 - 9:57 pmWe live in Iowa, weve had about 18 inches of snow so far this year and I dont have to worry about getting around, I can drive any where and feel 100% safe. The only regret I have so far is there is no complete third row seat offered. Otherwise am completely happy.

DJA - 2005 Hummer H2
By H2 - December 1 - 8:13 pmThis is the second one we have owned. We have a large piece of property with some horrible roads. My wife loves the vehicle and wouldnt want anything else. It is very durable and I feel safer with her in it. It does get horrible mileage and is as aerodynamic as a box which makes it hard to keep the wind shield clean. Other than the mileage, we are thrilled with the vehicle and the way it handles.
