Had to have - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By RTDjr - May 29 - 11:16 amI had to have a new truck as the wife just got a new mini van, and I didnt need a van any more, so I got a Ridgeline. I am a big guy, 64" 300 lbs and needed something big feeling without the gas gussling effect. Drove the Honda and had to have it. Comfort is top notch, XM radio is awesome sounding and all the toys I could ever need and want. Gas mileage is a little less than I figured. About 16mpg in town, 20mpg on the road, but still better than a Trail Blazer I had. I got the extra fender flares that really add to the look of the truck, gives it that he-man take no stuff look with a trailer package. No towing yet but cant wait to try. You need to drive one.

My Wifes Ridgeline RTL. - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By James Cameron - May 20 - 4:30 amComfortable, smooth, quiet, and enjoyable ride. Handles extremely easy and drives like a dream for a large vehicle. Everything is right at your finger tips. It appears wider and higher than the SUVs but very easy to drive. We have had Hondas since 1987 buying Accords, Civics and CR-V for ourselves and children because of the safety and reliability of Honda vehicles. Ridgeline is a great addition to the Honda line and has met our needs in an all around vehicle cant wait for the snow.

Honda did it again - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Raphael - May 19 - 1:06 amIt took Honda engineering a few years to come up with what I call the best truck on the market today. I test drove the Toyota Tundra, the Tacoma and the Nissan Titan and when I drove the Ridgeline I knew that was the one for me.

I love it!! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By happyridgeowner - May 16 - 8:53 amI couldnt be happier with my Ridgeline. I wasnt expecting "great" gas mileage. NO truck will give you that. But it is better than most. But the comfort, sound system, and general quality was way above the competition. With all the magazines saying it was their choice for Truck of the Year I knew I couldnt go wrong. The week after I got mine Consumer Reports comes out and makes it their Truck of choice. If you want a farm truck forget it. But if you want a middle duty truck and comfort you cant beat it.......period..........

Great but not perfect - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By cbrown3381 - March 11 - 5:16 pmThe Ridgeline is a very impressive truck, and it is a Honda through and through. The engineering, design and build quality are impecable. I do, however, have two issues with the truck. First, the darn thing beeps at you every half mile until you put your seat belt on. I get it after the first beep. I dont need my car strong-arming me into clicking the belt. Second, the cab could use a little more room, especially if its going to compete with full size trucks. The size is perfect for my wife, but if I were driving it full time, Id feel a bit cramped. The under-bed trunk is perfect. No more grocery bags sliding around in the bed.

The BEST truck I have ever owned! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By dynamiq - February 10 - 3:22 pmThis truck is almost perfect! It would be nice if it got better gas mileage, but then it wouldnt have that awesome torque! I have pulled multiple cars and trucks out of the ditch (in snow), I have hauled a 26 foot camper over the mountains on a 5 hour trip, a 21 foot boat for 3 hours... all no problem for the RL! The performance in snow and ice is the BEST I have experienced! I have owned 4 Ford F-150s and 1 GMC Sierra and none of them performed this well in the snow (or mud). It is so well- designed and well-balanced that I dont think any truck can compete for overall performance. I have owned for 2.5 years and I have not had to have anything fixed! This is truly a great truck!

Great truck - 2006 Honda Ridgeline
By Diane - January 10 - 1:16 pmI just bought this truck... my first. I was impressed with the luxurious, car like ride and side airbags being standard. The in bed trunk is huge and holds tons of stuff. Totally love this truck, didnt want to go the SUV route again. I added the optional "tonneau" cover across the bed to give it additional covered storage.

By 2loco - December 27 - 8:26 pmOverall I am very happy. I have owned a lot of autos and this is as close to having it all that I can get. Very versatile. handles like a sports car, will haul my atv, has 4x4, will seat 5. nice ride on highway. not like all the rest. a style all its own.
