After owning a 91 Ranger since 91, the 2006 "Ridge" is about everything I needed and wanted in a replacement. I have the RTL for the leather - and didnt want the extras of moon roof and nav. So far, Ive driven 975 miles since purchase and experience with 4 adults on a 200+ mile trip. Not one - all seniors - was unhappy with either front or rear seats. Conversation at normal levels while cruising @ 75mph - a quiet ride. Learning curve is steeper than other new vehicles Ive owned since 1959. Avg mpg after 2 fills is 18.2+ mpg. A little sensitive to Wyoming winds - not nearly as bad as 05 Tacoma doublecab. Power & brakes both feel good. It is a excellent luxury vehicle with lot of work potential.

I love everything about my Ridgeline. The backseat is very comfortable, and surprisingly roomy. The in-bed trunk makes a big difference over other trucks. The back-up camera is a must- have, makes it so much safer, especially with kids around. A very fun car to drive!

Of 27 vehicles owned in my life, the Ridgeline is the best overall vehicle. Quiet, squeak free and totally reliable machine. Needs a slightly longer trunk. Great work Honda. The new 2010 is on order!

  • Love my Ridgeline - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

I absolutely LOVE my new 06 Honda Ridgeline truck. So far have only driven it 1,000 miles, but no problems. Only little problem was that one or two doors would have a hard time shutting completely but it was just because it was new and as we used it, they shut just fine. Sometimes you can hear a little wind noise, but everything else is fantastic. I like it because it feels like an SUV. My husband likes the truck part. The cab doesnt feel like you are in a truck. It is very roomy even in the back seats. It is extremely wide inside. You are not crowded together. I got the gorgeous Amazon Green. The interior package matches well to it.

I have only had my Ridgeline for 10 days and I am excited about driving this truck for a long time. I think Honda built this truck for me. It fits very well for my truck needs. This truck is incredible to drive. It has a solid, firm yet comfortable ride. The driving position is one of control and security. It is simply fun and easy to drive. I dont do off road 4 wheeling, but I do live on steep, winding gravel roads, and I have yet to break traction in any driving situation. I look forward to seeing how the truck goes in the snow. I got slightly over 19mpg on my first tank of gas, which I am very happy with, as it was all around town, out in the country, run like a mad man driving.

  • Fantastic - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

From the time we purchased the Ridgeline all of my friends thought it was the coolest vehicle on the market, which it is! The interior design is perfect and it drives like a dream. (17 y.o. son) My son is right. Drives it more than I do. Mom was against getting any truck, until we test drove it. She fell in love immediately - interior extremely high quality as is exterior. Very comfortable, even back seat. Isnt a Luxury car - yet has a feel of luxury and quality. Runs very smooth. 6 banger - not construction worker heavy duty truck, but strong and will do more than we will ever need. I cannot say enough - best car I have ever owned in my 36 years of driving. >17 yo dad

This is the most versatile vehicle I have ever owned! I have had it 8 months and it is fantastic! I have owned other 4wd vehicles but this one came equipped with everything! The flexibility that comes from having a lockable trunk, comfortable 5 passenger seating and bed built for hauling 4 x 8 sheets of plywood, in addition to having built-in tiedowns, bed lights for loading at night and the power to pull my 20 ft fiberglass boat with extra motor and gear is unique!!! I would definitely recommend this vehicle to my friends!!!

This vehicle has exceeded all my expectations. Exactly what I needed to bridge the SUV, to truck market. Meets both expectations providing you are not going to try to pull a house. Mileage on road has reached 23, in town especially in winter maybe 16. Mileage on vehicle 45000, no problems, no signs of problems and love the truck. The below bed trunk can easily store three large coolers, and nice to see the spare out of the weather. Rear seat compartment borders on monstrous. Can store three fairly large toolboxes under the seat along with a four foot level. If you are looking for a small truck, that drives like a car with great traction in snow, this is the vehicle.

The ride, handling and utility of this truck is perfect for me. I dont need all the torque and off-road ability of a large truck. I do need a truck that is stable on ice and snow and has secure storage available.

  • Bad Air Leak - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Took delevery on my new Rdgeline 8 days ago like everything OK except a bad air leak in windshield area near rearview mirrow. At 55 or 60 mph sounds like bagpipes big annoyance.
