Leave it to Honda to show the truck world how to do it right. The Ridgeline is such an innovative, intelligent design, we can look forward to Ford, GM, and Dodge copying its features over the next few years. It is hands down the best riding truck on the road! It is safer and better built than any domestic truck. Most people who buy the gargantuan F- 250s and F-350s dont really need the bulk, so unless you plan to haul or pull huge loads, the Ridgeline might just be the ticket.

  • One Great Truck! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Ive only had it for a week, but, thus far, it is fantastic! It is the most well thought out and engineered blend of truck, SUV, and car for my money. It has the finer attributes of all three. It is luxurious, comfortable, spacious, quiet, smooth, powerful, solid, tight, handles beautifully and is pretty darn fun to drive. Lots of creature comforts for a truck. It has plenty of ingenious storage and carry features, all easy to access and sensible. The Ridgeline feels solid and safe when you drive it. Air bags galore. The strong 255 HP 6 Cylinder engine just cruises right along, as quiet as many sedans. Honda did it right! It is a genuinely worthy new entry. Gas mileage isnt great, but is ok.

Traded my 04 ranger for a 2007 RTL a couple of weeks ago and coudnt be happier. I wanted a nicer ride but still wanted some truck capability for chores around the house. This is the truck for that purpose. A GREAT ride , compared it to the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport-trac with the V-8 and the Ridgeline handled better , was way more comfortable, and had a better build quality, (along with a bed that was a foot longer). If you are a homeowner whos wife has the great ride while you struggle in an uncomfortable pickup this is the truck for you. Now I too can cruise in comfort and still handle the home depot runs. And now when we go somewhere together my wife is even saying "lets take the Truck"

My new Ridgeline is great and I love it as it has a roomy interior, and plenty of space inside as well as out in the cargo area. The lighting in the cargo area is great for camping and unloading other things as well, The cooler space is great as well for holding other things besides a cooler, and the tailgate works great as well. Even the wife can use it with ease! She likes to drive it even more than I do as it serves as a car and a truck. She uses it for yard sales and shoping as well. The DVD player is fantastic! The sound system that I had installed is great too. If this truck could get better gas mileage, it would be one of the best sellers on the market and the safest as well!

  • Best vehicle ever! - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Really impressed with this vehicle. Certainly, it does not replace a Ford F-350 or other such trucks, but is an outstanding truck for people like me who need a truck part time to carry items too big or too dirty for a SUV and still be able to carry 5 adults in comfort. The ride is exceptional, and the creature comforts are more than enough. Love the satellite navigation and radio! Very comfortable driving position and firm but polished ride. Some reviews complain about road noise, but I certainly disagree; they must have been comparing this to a Lexus LS 430! This truck is fun and easy to drive.

Rides like a car, quiet interior, handles all my outdoor gear, a trunk in the bed, and 21 mpg. So far so good. Have had to replace A/C line and get computer adjust but all is well now.

It is a a great vehicle, a nice split for my husband and myself a cross between a truck and an SUV. Very happy with it and love it!

  • Fun to Drive and Innovative - 2006 Honda Ridgeline

This is the best driving truck on the market. I chose the Ridgeline for its drivability, safety, versatile cargo hauling, interior room and respectable gas mileage. The handling on curving mountain roads is secure and fun. The interior feels much larger than a Toyota Tacoma and almost as large as a Chevy Avalanche. There are lots of places to store items in the cab and under the rear seat. You will find the in-bed trunk so useful that you will never want to own another truck without one (itÂ’s great for groceries). If your towing needs are under 5,000 lbs and you have moderate off road needs, this truck is for you. I get about 15-16 mpg in town and 18- 20 on the road.

First 4WD for me. Big change from my 93 Nissan KingCab. Like the ride. Average 16-17 MPG. Would like it better, but not surprised due to AWD. The AWD really helps when my work takes me into rural areas.

Ive had this for one month and its the most fun I have had in a vehicle in a long time. It feels solid. I didnt exptect milage to be great since the mileage numbers are posted for you to see when you buy it. Navigation is great. I compared, drove and reseached Tundra and Tacoma before deciding on this one and I like my choice.
