An Insight to the Insight - 2010 Honda Insight
By Hank - November 30 - 12:40 amThe eco-drive feature has really helped me break some of my bad driving habits, e.g., fast starts and hard breaking. The instrument displays and driving feedback are very readable. The reduction in power in the eco- drive did not significantly reduce performance for me.

By Donna - October 1 - 1:33 pmThousands less than the Prius and comparable mpg. Plus, it seems like everybody and their brother drives a Prius these days! I like having a car thats not ubiquitous. Its fun to drive, and I am getting around 50 mpg. I am very happy with my Insight!

Great MPG, cool looking car - 2010 Honda Insight
By hondainsightguy - June 28 - 5:50 amI have owned several Hondas in the past, I think this is one of the nicest ones yet. The look of the car is great, it reminds me of the Honda CRXs back in the 80s. I only wish it had a moonroof like my previous Civic. The Econ mode really helps with the fuel economy and I am averaging right at 44 mpg with the first 3000 miles I have put on it. When driving this car it seems to make my a lot less stressed then driving other cars, I guess it just gives you a good feeling knowing you are driving a green vehicle. Honda is right it is the first hybrid for everyone.

By IBWong - May 28 - 4:03 pmPerfect commuter car. Great gas mileage and safety features. Useful trunk size and helpful Eco-Assist info in terms of helping one optimize ones driving habits for best economy. Rearward visibility a bit restricted with highback childs booster seat installed.

Better than the Prius - 2010 Honda Insight
By RandyL - April 19 - 10:03 pmI have owned my 2010 Honda Insight for about three months now. What a great car! I have been averaging 49.4 mpg. They need to redo the govt estimate. I would buy this car over the Prius any day. The car tells you how to drive more efficiently, great feedback.

Great Hybrid! - 2010 Honda Insight
By Black 2010 Insight - January 13 - 12:50 amOf the hybrids Ive driven (Prius, Camry, Highlander, Civic), this drives the most like a "standard" vehicle. You will notice when the engine shuts off when stopped, or the regenerative breaking, but its not nearly as obvious as in other vehicles. This car is smooth, handles great (compared to the Prius, which is a great car, but drives like a toaster- oven on wheels), and relatively quiet. It also has pretty good power for a hybid -- the pick-up is there when you need to accelerate quickly.

What Noisy Ride? - 2010 Honda Insight
By David Moore - October 27 - 12:46 amI was looking for an "adult" ride to replace my 05 Vibe. This is less expensive than the Vibe was, and is a delightful, crisp handling, and (compared to the Vibe) quiet. I love this thing. All in all a really classy vehicle for the price.
