  • First Car - 2007 Honda Fit

This is my first car and first purchase ever and I am beyond pleased. I think I made a great choice. The gas mileage is great. I dont know if I drive less than the average person but when I fill up my tank (which always costs me less than $30) it lasts me practically 2 weeks.

  • 43 MPG! - 2007 Honda Fit

I love my Fit! Her name is Phoebe, because her color is Lunar Mist, and I decided that she should have a lunar name, so she is named after Saturns 18th moon - Phoebe. Took a drive to friends, who live over 150 miles from me, and Phoebe got just under 43 MPG round trip! Called my mechanic to find out if this is possible. He said yes. I love this little car, and I couldnt be happier with it. If you are looking to get a great small car, you will not be disappointed.

  • Shouldve been a "Jazz". - 2007 Honda Fit

I previously reviewed my Fit on 4/20/07. Since then not much has changed except for one very disappointing thing. In cold weather there is a spectacularly annoying rattle coming from the center dash. Very unHonda-like! Of course this is my only real complaint. Overall I love this car. Its a blast to drive. As a matter of fact driving my Fit in Chicago is (dare I say it?) almost fun. The utility in this car is amazing. Ive had a lawn mower, a weed wacker (both Hondas), 8 bags of mulch and fertilizer and all sorts of small plants in the back. All delivered in one trip. Who needs an SUV?

  • Nice little ride - 2007 Honda Fit

The MT Fit Sport is a nice little ride. It handles superbly, like a sports car. Pick-up is good for a 1.5 litre engine. Build quality is excellent. This is a great little car.

  • Greatest small car ever - 2007 Honda Fit

We had to unexpectedly buy a new car when our Chevy Malibu developed fatal issues. The Fit was on my short list of replacements. I found one certified preowned and jumped on it. It is easily the best, most enjoyable car Ive ever owned. The interior room is nothing short of amazing. Im 62", so whether I can fit into a car is a big concern for me. The Fit is a little snug, but not uncomfortable in the least. It literally zips around like a big go-kart the power from such a small engine was a pleasant surprise. Im still on my first tank of gas, but so far it appears to be getting around 40 MPG highway.

  • Just breaking it in - 2007 Honda Fit
    By -

Put the first thousand miles on it in just a few weeks. Already seeing gas mileage improvement as it breaks in (31 mpg to start, ~35 now combined). Also seeing a little more acceleration as well. Extremely well put together interior, stereo with amazing sound, tons of features. It also handles flawlessly that makes you forget you are in a subcompact and rivals sports cars I have driven before. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great mpg and a fun car to drive.

  • Purchased sight unseen - 2007 Honda Fit

The Honda Fit is getting hard to find in the Michigan area and I was so sure from the reviews that I wanted one that I purchased one without having seen one. When it arrived the next day from a dealer in the next state I was even more impressed than I had expected. I tend to judge a car in part at least by the sound of the door closing. A cheap car usually goes clunk but the Honda Fit sounds more like my Audi A6 and has a very satisfying sound that, to me at least, signifies good engineering. Im just a little miffed about the lack of an iPod connection since it would have added about $0.50 to the price of the car and they gave one to the Canadian models. Ill find a way to add one.

  • A Nice Fit - 2007 Honda Fit

I use my Fit to run around town, drive to work, get groceries, take short road trips (2 hrs), etc. Typically its just me in the car but at least a few times a week Im hauling two or three other tall adults along with me. Im 6 1" and the rest range between 5 10" and 6. Handling is responsive, engine is reliable, and fuel economy is great. The Fit usually gets between 30 and 32 mpg with a mixture of city and highway. However, I drive pretty aggressive so Im very impressed considering my 03 Montero Sport averaged 16 to 17 mpg. Stereo works great but Im not an audiophile. I wish the AC had a bit more cooling capacity but after getting darker window tinting this is not as big of an issue.

  • Better than I had hoped for... - 2007 Honda Fit

I am in the military and I use this little car for every bit of versatility you could imagine. I can easily haul 4 (yes 4) 200lb co-workers around with me and have no noticable drag on the engine. It is an energetic car that that reminds you it can be fun to just go for a drive. I have used 2 tanks of fuel with a real world combined Hwy/city driving mileage of 35mpg. The stereo sound superb; deep roomy glove compartment; every control easily reached from the drivers sitting position; friends compliment of how much leg room is in the back seats and one of my taller friends even was amazed to get in the back seat and have plenty of head and leg room. More than the front seat of his car :-)

  • A two FIT family! - 2007 Honda Fit

I researched a lot of different cars for my husband to drive since he works away from home. His truck was going to be going to our daughter for her first car. The fuel economy, interior space, and safety features sold me on the car. Had to wait 3 weeks to get it, but we loved it. Daughter got that one! Husband got the second one! We are officially a two FIT family! White and Storm Silver. Both very pretty. It holds my daughtes stand up bass with both front seats up!!! I was impressed. She also has to transport her stool along with her bass. She has room to spare!
