  • Dependable - 2009 Honda CR-V

I bought it certified pre owned and have been enjoying the ride. Keep up with routine care and it will go much longer. The sun visors are a bit small when sun is low, should have an extender, esp for shorter drivers.

  • Better Than Expected... - 2009 Honda CR-V

After driving every small ute out there, I narrowed it down to the CR-V and the Forester. The wife preferred the look of the CR-V over the Forester. Since its primarily her car we went with the CR-V. I was most concerned about the lack of power (I drive an 09 Murano). However, it packs plenty of punch for her daily needs. Its amazing how spacious the interior feels on such a small frame. This is a perfect vehicle for driving around town, but I prefer the smooth ride of my Murano on a long drive. The handling is superb for an SUV, which makes it fun to drive. I was concerned about rear visibility w/o the backup camera, but its fine. Make sure you check out the Forester too.

  • Love the CR V - 2009 Honda CR-V

We traded in our 04 Chrysler Town and Country that had 170,000 (my husband drives a lot for work)for the CR V. What a great and fun to drive truck it is! Our other car is a Volvo XC90, and while I enjoy driving it, the CR V is so easy to maneuver and park that I have virtually kidnapped th CR V from my husband. It really is a great value compact SUV for the money, not to mention the Honda reliability. This is our 3rd Honda and we couldnt be more pleased.

  • Pretty much a great little car - 2009 Honda CR-V

I am happy I purchased this car because I love the way it looks and drives. Very practical. Lots of compliments from retirees. Car looks like it costs a lot more than it does.

  • Seats from Hell - 2009 Honda CR-V
    By -

Love the 2009 Honda CR-V I just bought with one glaring exception, the seats are from hell. After about a 100 mile trip they are so uncomfortable I just about traded it in with less than 500 miles total on the CR-V. Probably will not keep this vehicle much longer, cannot stand to be so miserable. Am asked "How do you like your new car?" I answer "I hate it, want to buy it!" That just about sums it up!!

The car is perfect all around. Decent MPG, comfortable, loves the highway, large storage capacity.

  • Overall Im Happy - 2009 Honda CR-V

Just purchased my CR-V LX AWD, it drives nice and smooth, I love the space in front and back. I dont feel like Im driving a big SUV almost feels like Im still driving my Jetta. This was reasonably priced, although I do wish there were some extras in the low end model, dont need all the bells and whistles, but some would be nice. Overall safe pick, compared to the Toyota RAV4, I feel I got a bigger car with more room.

  • Just Another - 2009 Honda CR-V

Well I was sold on all the hype of reliability. My wife is really upset we traded a Chevy that has zero issues to one that has us at the Honda Dealer every week. All little stuff from rattles to AC not working. Oh yeah my second transmission in 18000 Miles. Did I get a lemon? Dont think so, lots of others in the waiting room at Honda thinking what did I do. Oh the new body style will be better seems they are doing a redesign to modernize it like the Nissan, Chevy , Ford and Mitsubishi.

  • So far so good - 2009 Honda CR-V

I bought a CRV after reading reviews here and Consumer Reports. I have been very happy with the car since buying it. It feels very well put together and is comfortable to drive. Its not a Maserati but that wasnt what I was looking for. I just wanted basic transportation, reliability, and a price that I could afford. Im definitely happy to own this car and I expect many years of use.

  • 09 CRV EX (compare to 02 CRV) - 2009 Honda CR-V
    By -

Upgraded from an 02 CRV EX to an 09 CRV EX. The 09 "seems" smaller in the cargo area - but upon putting the cargo tray from the 02 into the 09 - its actually the same size. The difference is that the 09 has support shelves for the cargo shelf that stick out into the trunk area. The hatch also slopes - so you lose some space. In addition, the EX is missing the hooks that the 02 had (to hang grocery bags). The 09 is missing dash storage - but the dash is much better designed - I can reach the radio controls without leaning forward. Note - the Honda supplied floor mats are junk! After 1500 miles, Ive worn out the carpet pile. The mats on my 02 looked brand new after 7 years. Overall, B+.
