  • My first Honda - 2008 Honda CR-V

Its my first Honda and I like it so far except for the fuel consumption. I drive 90% of time on the streets (Los Angeles) and I average 19 miles per gallon. This would be my only concern. On the freeways with no traffic a get about 30 miles per gallon which is pretty good I think. On the positive side, the ride is very comfortable and quiet. Stereo system is awesome with 6 disk changer. I burned my mp3 music on the cds and now I can listen to music for ours without changing a disc. Front and rear seats have a lot of legroom (Im 62). I would definitely recommend this SUV to a friend)

I say I have to agree with most of the reviews. Its still hard for me to believe how much room is inside. Also the foolproof service display tells you when to change your oil, rotate tires and much more. Love this SUV and its looks great. Fun to drive!!! Great job on the new design!

We just got the CR-V 2 weeks ago and so far it has met and exceeded our expectations!! The car looks great in black and performs well above what some critics have noted. Plenty of up and go when you need it especially with a 4 cyl and great gas mileage. We are happier every day we drive it. Almost bought a bigger SUV but so glad we went with a CR-V

  • Great SUV/ Cross Over - 2008 Honda CR-V

We purchased our CR-V in October 2007. I love this vehicle. Easy to drive, handles the road well, ergonomics are great. The CR-V gets 25-26 MPG in the city. AWD was very good up in Michigan. They had 14" of snow in late January went thru it like it was nothing . My husband I are very pleased with the CR-V. We have 8800 miles on it and love it . Very easy to park also !

We love the CRV period! Test drove the Ford Escape and the Toyota RAV4. The Honda CRV is very smooth in accelerating, handles the winding roads where we live with ease. The ergonomics inside the CRV are terrific. Love the looks of the exterior. For your money you cannot go wrong with this 4WD, seats are very comfortable, can see out of all areas of the inside cabin, there are no blind spots. You wont regret getting this Honda CRV!

Great car for the money. Gets decent mileage (22 mpg city) driving relatively short distances in the city and does well in the snow. I have had no problems yet, but have noticed that it does not have the same feel of quality that my Accord did (i.e. the doors close with a bang, not the "thunk" or perfection).

I traded an 08 Kia Sorento for my CR- V and couldnt be happier. The build quality is in a class of it own and this vehicle has a very well thought design. Ive owned a Honda in the past and my main complaint with my 04 Accord was road noise, and theyve made great improvements with that. On my first tank the CR-V averaged 24.9 mpg (combined city/hwy). Theres plenty of room for people and cargo and I like how the back sits flip forward. The back lift gate is easy to close, which was a problem with the Sorento, which had a very heavy/cumbersome litigate. Love how wide the doors open! Cant really comment on reliability yet but I expect no major problems since it is a Honda.

  • Awesome Little Red Wagon. - 2008 Honda CR-V

This is the best vehicle Ive ever owned. There have been many of all genres and price. Since 2008 there have been many technological advances. However at the time my CR-V was on the leading edge. It is comfortable, economical, and trouble free. The beautiful red makes it a standout

This car runs great so far, handles very well and the ride is smooth. Engine power is good not many cars on the road can pass you if you dont want them too.

I love this little SUV! I was a little worried about getting an SUV. I drove a 99 Honda Prelude for over 9 years. It was so small and low to the ground, but I have had no problems adjusting to the CR-V! I love Hondas and I fell in love with the CR-V the moment I saw it. When my husband and I test drove it, that was it! It is so much fun to drive and it handles great! I wish the gas mileage was a little better, but hopefully it will improve, as I only have 175 miles on it! It is nice to use regular gas. My Prelude required premium! Its also nice having so much room! I can actually take people in my backseat!
