A good SUV for people with limited bucks - 2004 Honda CR-V
By joystone - March 31 - 10:00 amI just bought my CRV on middle Aug. I have already put 2000miles on it within one month since I commuted between two cities (150 miles round trip) twice a week. The only thing i am not confortable with is the fuel economy. On average, I need to visit gas station within two round trips. I guess its around 320miles per tank. Obviously, this is a great SUV for people who just begin to work and have limit financial resources, because the quality of this SUV just worth every dollar you spend. I will buy a BMW or LEXUS SUV when I graduate for sure. That will make me feel more professional.

Evil A/Cs - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Shawnzee - March 19 - 11:22 amI bought my 2004 CR-V new and took delivery in Nov. 03. Basically a good car but not a great one. The well known A/C problem became a problem for me in the 90,000 mile range in August. I live in Connecticut and we dont use A/C much but in August you really need it. The repair was $1500 and Honda covered $900 of it as good faith. At about 105,000 the throttle body went and I shelled out $1000 for that repair. Based on the dealers absolute confusion on what was wrong I dont think this was a common occurrence for the CR-V. The sun visor broke off in my hand and cost $100 to replace. The drivers seat belt broke but was covered under the lifetime guarantee on seat belts.

Terrific - 2004 Honda CR-V
By mold - March 13 - 9:04 pmThis car met my expectations for a mini- SUV perfectly. I also shopped the RAV4 preferred the CRV and have not regretted it. 20-21 mpg in town... 24- 26 mpg highway. No problems in 31+k miles. I have stuffed lumber and furniture into it but also know that it has size limitations and is not a truck.

65k miles and Im still lovin it! - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Jack - March 1 - 2:17 pmIm reading that people have had issues with their A/C but mine works as good now as it did when I first bought it. The engine still purrs and the transmission is as smooth as silk. I put a heavy-duty hitch on it and haul approx. 1700lbs on occasion without any hesitation from the engine. Routine maintenance, good mpg and decent fit and finish continues to make my CR-V a winner for me. Just to add, mine was assembled in England and the engine/transmission were manufactured in Japan. Maybe this makes a difference.

Very Nice - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Ron65 - February 27 - 2:00 amAfter first 500 miles, this is a very comfortable, easy to drive car. Handling is great, is roomy for a small suv. After comparing to RAV4 and Subaru Forrester, the CR-V has more to offer, and it costs less too. Highly recommended.

Great car - 2004 Honda CR-V
By starfisher - February 26 - 11:44 pmOur CR-V has been a dream to own. Weve had no problems whatsoever with regular maintenance. We love the layout of the interior and all of the cargo space, not to mention the gas mileage. Id buy this car again and recommend it to friends and family.

Best buy for the $$$ - 2004 Honda CR-V
By Tracy K. - February 16 - 10:00 amThis suv is wonderful! I cant say enough good comments about it. The more I drive it the more I love it. I didnt want a mini-van (mom mobile) or a full size suv(gas guzzler) but I needed something that was comfortable with enough room for 3 children. My oldest son is 62 and has plenty of leg room in the back seat. I did plenty of research before purchasing but the more I compared other suvs that were similiar in price and size the more I kept coming back to the crv. It drives like a dream and has a lot of gusto for a 4 cylinder. I would highly recommend this vehicle to everyone!

BEST MID SIZE SUV FOR THE PRICE - 2004 Honda CR-V
By RMichael - January 21 - 2:00 amI bought this SUV for a 130 mile per day commute.I get a consistent 27 MPG combined hwy and city. The car really moves. I bought the lX model with all the extras but with a stick shift. I had to special order it but the std shift gives excellent control and has great power. Ask for Lud if you buy at Curry Honda in Westchester. He was straight up front no high pressure and was very knowledgable. The car is OK in the snow and the rain. Would Highly Recommend the purchase.
