For 2004, the Thunderbird gets revised seat trim, an Audiophile stereo, Homelink and newly styled aluminum accents. Exterior changes include new V8 badging, redesigned 17-inch wheels and a Light Sand Appearance package, which includes cream-colored gauges, a sand-colored top and bronze interior accents. Merlot, Platinum Silver and Vintage Mint Green are new exterior paint choices this year.

• Minimal trunk space, lackluster interior design, no manual transmission offered.

  I have had a great time with this vehicle. The only things to go wrong so far have been the following. The passenger side window motor and relay went out withind the first week of ownership and twice now when braking, it felt as if you still had your foot on the accelerator which was overriding the brake. Thankfully, by pushing down harder on the brake pedal the problem was corrected.

  Recieved the car as a gift and was thrilled, at first. The car began to leave me stranded...engine would not turn over. Local dealership service dept. has tried everything but can find no answer to the problem. Car has now been in the service dept. for 11 weeks and still no answer to the problem. I absolutely love the car, but I do not love being stranded waiting for a wrecker...NINE TIMES!

  Ive dreamed of driving a T-bird since I was a little girl. Owning one now is not the least bit of a disappointment. The car handles beautifully, accelerates uphill like its no effort at all, and feels solid and comfortable. I have always driven big, heavy cars, and the transition to a sports model was easy. This gorgeous car also functions as a dude magnet.

  This is the best car that I have ever driven and owned!!! I love my Thunderbird. I love driving it fast, it handles so very well on curves, straight roads. My car has "guts", it seriously lets me be first when ever I drive. Im not afraid of passing other cars because I trust my car completely and trust is what I need when driving my car.

  A comfortable head-turner with power when you need it. More storage space than the vette... an emphasis on comfort but punch the pedal and enjoy the thrust. A hard top when you want one (in my case that means the winter months) a convertible when you dont. Six CD changer, stereo system that is as good as anything out there. A boomers delight, revisit the past with the comforts of today.

  I can only say that every time i drive this car i am exhilarated from the moment i walk up to it until the minute i lock it up....looks, handling and a new feeling every time i drive....not too much for me to want with this touring gem....great job ford, except for the lackluster promotion and at times treating this world class car like an average citizen in the showroom.......

  1)The TBird really handles 2)Fit and Finish is above Fords normal 3)The negitive is getting in and out of the car with the tops on .(Head Clearence (NG). 4)The car has plenty of power.

  I have been invited to participate in many parades to escort VIPs and the people praise the car and really dont care who the VIP is riding in it. Handles better and faster than a Mercedez 500 SL sports convertable at less than half the price Buy American again You will be pleasantly surprised!

  Fun to drive, so my wife tells me. She loves it too. Has a lot of getup and go when you need it and it is pleasingly responive in turns. Never had a car that got so many positive comments by onlookers.

  THIS CAR OVERALL IS A REAL EYE CATCHER. PEOPLE OF ALL AGES LOVE IT,AND MOST THINK IT IS A VINTAGE CAR,ESPECIALLY BECAUSE MY COLOR IS VINTAGE MINT GREEN. IT IS AN "EXPERIENCE" TYPE VEHICLE.YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR IN A MID 1950S EARLY 1960S CAR,BUT WITH ALL THE NEWER AMMENITIES.IT RIDES GREAT,HANDLES NICE & HAS A NICE V-8 ENGINE.
