Great family vehicle - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By newfrstylawd06 - July 28 - 6:13 amJust got the Limited AWD with NAV, adjust pedal, safety option, reverse sensing, DVD, 2nd row buckets. Chose this over minivans and SUVs after months of research. LOVE IT! A lot of bang for the buck over Honda or Toyota vans if you can give up sliding doors and both rows folding flat. For a family of 4 this is more than enough room and a great look. Also, no one knows what it is. All of my MOM friends are amazed by its comfort and room. Its like a super wagon more than a van. It handles like a car more than a truck which I like. The drivers seat is so supportive & accommodating to a short driver ( better than previous cars). My 61" husband also has plenty of room. Great alternative to minivan.

Why I like my Freestyle - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By BILL WAECHTER - May 1 - 10:40 amFirst and most importantly, I have had no complaints from my wife about this vehicle. It is great to have a seven passenger vehicle with plenty of cargo room and seating versatility that will get close to 30 mpg on the highway with out being some Japanese car.

Fords Surprise Winner - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By BenS - May 1 - 12:00 amThe Ford Freestyle is our first-ever American car. My wife chose it over the Pilot, Outback and Freelander. This car is the 21st century vehicle that fills the gap in the market left by Volvo years ago when they discontinued the 240DL wagon and moved upmarket. The Freestyle is well-built, sensible, spacious, stylish but not flashy, and yes, boxy. Despite the unassuming profile, strangers check it out and friends ask *lots* of questions. We love this car so far. Gas mileage is good. 3rd row seat is spacious and comfortable. The ride is great-good stability, nice brakes, smooth transmission. Even the dog appreciates the low trunk after jumping in & out of an SUV for years.

Freestyle: Drive yourself FREE! - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Donna - November 30 - 5:13 amThis is among one of the best SUVs I have ever driven, It is so smooth on the roads and handles with perfection. It is great on the beaches; it cuts through the sand like butter. I go to the beaches in NC and I had so many compliments on the vehicle. I highly recommend this SUV above them all and I have had a few in my past.

Ford Freestyle - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Bud - November 15 - 2:23 pmMy wife love to drive the Freestyle, she like everything about it. She drove a Freestar for 5 years SEL over 150,000. What I have a problem is the seat. I thought should be a little better. The passenger seat should be like the drivers seat. Also Im 6 foot and with the seat back theres not much room for a man behind me. Also gas mpg is not what I expected.

About my new Freestyle Review - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Paul Merithew - November 6 - 5:40 amI went from a Kia to Freestyle. We wanted a van, but this vehicle here has everything we need. From the power to storage space to the cup holders even has a great sound system. The bonus about this vehicle is that it got a 5 star safety award which saved me a lot on my insurance. I just want who ever is in charge and who ever designed this vehicle to know, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You. My 5 year old daughter Thanks you for all the room.

Finally, a solid American car - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Eric - August 16 - 11:26 amThere is just nothing we dont like about the car. Comfort on trips is great. Plenty of power, unless you want a gas guzzler. Passing response is excellent, CVT is smooth and seamless.

Great Mommy Car! - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Lisa Schmidt - March 27 - 6:53 amI love this car! Its a great mommy care without looking like a mommy car. Great pick up, a lot of room, very nice sound system .... a great car for the money. The stadium style seating is nice so all the kids can see out the window. Great safety features too. Fits all the family needs without being a minivan. Im very pleased with this vehicle so far.
