Happy mother of 4 - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Laurie - November 17 - 8:13 amI feel like Im riding a luxury car with all the features a Limited offers. The heated leather seats, sun roof, 6 CD changer, back up sensor and much more, all items I would have wanted in a passenger sedan but found in this 6 seater. I was tired of feeling like a soccer mom in her taxi and was ready for a change. This gives me the capacity I still needed but the feel I was looking for. Loaded with options but a price I could afford. Im very happy to have taken advantage of the family plan. Great interior layout!

06 Freestyle - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Harold - November 3 - 3:46 pmI never expected such a big, comfortable car to be so economical. 22mpg city, 29 highway. Handles great and its built like a bank vault. Solid and rattle-free after 20K miles. I am completely satisfied.

Love the All wheel drive - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By ASA203 - October 27 - 4:00 pmI have never owned an all wheel drive vehicle, but this car has shown me how great they handle in poor conditions. Last winter was mild, but it is great to be able to pull out on wet roads without spinning. The ride is wonderful and with plenty of room for 6. I recommend this vehicle for families. It compares to the Volvo XC90 but at a much lower price.

Great Family Car! - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Pugliese Family - October 27 - 11:47 amWe have only owned this car for about a month. We did not see many on the road where we live and were wondering why Ford didnt advertise more about this great vehicle. Thank goodness for customer review sites like this one. We were shopping for a 6-7 passenger vehicle but did not want a big SUV or a van. When we were in Italy this year we rented a 6 passenger wagon and we were hooked. As soon as we got back to the USA we started shopping for a 6-7 passenger wagon. Ford Freestyle offered a spectacular car. It is easy to park and drive and seats 7 very nicely. The gas mileage is much better than my Explorer.

Great Vehicle for families - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Rob Bartholomew - October 22 - 6:22 pmThis vehicle is a blast to drive. My wife and I stumbled across this model as I hadnt even known about them. We have no regrets and would recommend this vehicle to anyone on the SUV/CAR market.

So far I like it - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Michael - October 18 - 5:15 amI have had my Freestyle for a little over 9 months now, and I love it. There are some things that could be better... engine noise for example. But the room I have and the fuel economy are better than I hoped for. The kids no longer fight about whos touching who. Sure, some people ask me if it will ever grow up to be REAL SUV, but thats not why I got it. ROOM! plus fuel economy. I think I got both... now lets hope the reliability is good. I am concerned about this new CVT.

The Jury is Still Out - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Julie - September 26 - 7:35 pmRight off the bat the passenger front airbag sensor/light needed to be replaced. There is a lot of road noise in general and cabin noise is awful with back window down. Its a great ride, I love the ride in fact and the front seats are VERY comfortable. Color choices were poor. Could really use a smidge more power on hills and such. Over all I am happy so far just not thrilled and excited like I was in the beginning. I dont know that Id buy the same vehicle again.

I LOVE this Freestyle - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By Mardi - September 26 - 6:31 pmI never dreamed I could actually enjoy a "non-performance" car so much. I bought this vehicle strictly for practical purposes and expected to find it to be ho-hum. It is so comfortable, responsive, and agile that I find myself thinking of it as a fun vehicle after all. My criteria when I bought was that it hold six passengers with some degree of comfort. With high gas prices we wanted a family vehicle that would carry our extended family without having to take two cars. We all, from my 86 year old mother-in-law to my two-year-old grandson, choose the Freestyle even when we dont need the extra room. On top of that, it converts for cargo so easily, I often use it instead of the truck.

IMPRESSIVE - 2006 Ford Freestyle
By eileen - September 15 - 4:20 amI traded in my Honda Accord for the Freestyle. Im so happy I did. It looks great, gets the best gas mileage in its class, its roomy. And best of all, our dogs absolutely love it! We put all the back seats flat, cover with a fitted sheet (queen, fits perfect!) and comforter, roll the windows 1/2 way down & our dogs are in heaven. We cant wait to take road trips in it. I absolutely recommend it to families & active folks with kids or dogs, or sports enthusiasts. We have the SEL in white/gold trim. Its sharp. For us, its perfect. But most importantly, the safety features, comfort, mpg & fact that it suits not only us, but our dogs, sold us on this one. Enjoy!
