I owned a Ford Focus in 2002 and wasnt that fond of the car. Since then I had all types of performance cars - Nissan 350z, Mustang GT and Charger R/T. I recently traded in the Charger for the Focus SES 4-door and am pleasantly surprised with the engineering. Ford has come a long way with their quality and "WOW factor." We looked at several Japaneses and Korean compacts for fuel efficiency and none compare

The SEL has a nice standard package. It handles well and is great in turns. Not to much wind noise and I like the temperature and direction settings on the info screen. Unlike my 08 focus se, there is a light in the back seat so your passengers can see as well as head rests.

Our lease was up on the 2006 Honda Odyssey so we decided upon this great little car i.e., the engine is a copy of the Mazda 2-liter 16 valve engine. With a K&N performance air filter she gets up on her hind legs and moves quite spritely. We drive 18,000 miles/year so youve got to have something fun to drive and with the euro-suspension package shes a real treat to put her through the paces. Weve just added pure nitrogen to the tires at the dealer and this has enabled her to be even more fun to drive as the sidewalls dont flex as much. We drive with the sunroof open here in Orange County year-round and love it. Do plan on supercharging her in the near future though....

Bought it a few weeks ago. I am happy with it. There are a few things missing that I didnt think about when buying. The inside top of trunk is exposed (the inside, not the door). Most cars that I have driven have a foot rest for your left foot in an automatic. When the drivers door is open and the key is in the ignition, and you lock the doors using the automatic locks, they all lock then unlock shortly after (rather than just ignoring it).

  • Economy car?Not really! - 2010 Ford Focus

Ive had to step down from a Lexus IS to a lower priced car. Naturally I was worried about quality and reliability. After a bunch of research I decided to go with the 2010 SES Coupe with remote start and moon and tune package. The car handles very well and the power is surprisingly adequate. Gas milage is pretty good but so was the Lexus. The interior is very nice for an economy car but it feels much more expensive if you get the sync package. Sync works incredible well and it does take a little while to figure all the commands out. The moon and tune package adds a sub which shakes the trunk pretty good but its no Lexus sound system. All in all a great car and no regrets!

Horrible seats and SYNC sucks. Drive train great. Fender benders cause not much damge to body but a lot to other cars.
