Overview & Reviews
The 2010 Ford Escape gains a new driver-side mirror that's said to improve the driver's ability to check the vehicle's blind spot. There are also a few optional features for 2010, including a rearview camera, an automatic parallel-parking "Auto Park" feature and MyKey, which allows parents to limit speed and audio volume for their teen drivers. Heated seats are also now standard on the Limited.
- Innovative high-tech features, impressive crash scores, peppy performance.
- Feels old compared to rivals, poor braking performance, non-reclining rear seat is difficult to fold.

USA CAN build a good vehicle - 2010 Ford Escape
By Rob - May 18 - 3:47 pmThe Limiteds Camel interior is attractive and the heated leather seats are very comfortable. We added a custom painted pin stripe to the somewhat bland Sangria Red exterior. The vehicle gets 24 mpg in local driving and between 30 and 32 mpg on interstates. Radio fidelity is the best weve heard in any car weve owned and the Synch system is very handy.Though engine roar is evident during acceleration, the ride is wonderfully quiet on the interstates.Surprisingly, this FWD model went through four inches of snow rather well. Some suspension skipping is noticeable on washboard roads. Ample room is available for two bicycles and plenty of luggage. At 4000 miles its running great.

Amazing value, amazing vehicle. - 2010 Ford Escape
By Greg - May 17 - 3:23 pmJust picked up a Limited AWD 6-cyl yesterday with Park Assist and Rear Camera system. SYNC is even better than the commercials make it out to be. After driving the Element, CR-V and Forrester - this was the clear winner in a number of areas. Never owned a Ford, but after this I may never stray.

Escape two! - 2010 Ford Escape
By cannon3 - May 7 - 6:38 pmSecond Escape, our first was awesome, reliable and trustworthy. 80,000+ miles. This new one doesnt have the V6, but the wife and I felt we really dont need that extra cost. 4cyl is enough, its no race horse but it cruises nicely. Fit/finish is great! Love the Sync option. Wife is main driver and she likes way it drives. I like the safety options Ford has put on these Escapes now.

15500 mile review - 2010 Ford Escape
By Nick - April 26 - 11:07 pmI purchase my Escape in November and have pounded the miles on it since then. The Escape is very surprisingly fun to drive. Merging, passing, and sudden maneuvers are actually FUN in this mini ute. My family fits comfortably with all of our gear in it. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER with this car. I am defiantly loyal to the blue oval again after a few imports. You owe it to yourself to at least consider the Escape if you are in the market for a small ute. There have been some complaints I have read about the seats staining easy, I find that they clean beautifully with just a towel and a little bit of water. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, so I am always cleaning the seats! No stains yet!

Escape Limited - 2010 Ford Escape
By mld4 - April 1 - 6:37 pmHave driven 6 weeks and 3,600 miles. So far, the vehicle is terrific. It takes time to fully understand the bells and whistles in the Limited. The "SYNC" is an excellent feature.

SUV and Road Construction.. - 2010 Ford Escape
By Ken - March 27 - 1:34 amLove the SUV. I never thought about the pluses of a SUV when it seems like every road in the United States is being repaired. This thing will handle anything the orange barrels can dish out! Road noise, Very Low. Sync system works well. Read the Book.. Looks like a SUV, not like a car. Heat and Air great! Heat seats good for the back.. Systems Diagnosis Is super. Cant wait to drive through Kansas City I-35, King of the orange barrel interstate.

My Silver 2010 Escape - 2010 Ford Escape
By Mary - March 22 - 12:39 pmI love this truck! I traded in a 2004 Mustang for the truck after several treacherous winters. I wanted a more reliable, safer in the snow vehicle. I have always eyed the Escape while at the Ford dealer. And one test drive, I was sold. The tax free government program was a great purchase incentive.
