Fun Car - 1997 Ford Aspire
By Bessie - February 17 - 2:00 amI got this car when I moved from PA to NC. One of my gripes, no air conditioning. It has been very reliable getting me around town and on road trips. Its been from PA to FLA and from NC to PA many, many times. I have 69,000 miles on her now, and weve only been to the dealership for oil changes and fender bender fixes. I have been sandwiched between two cars in a nasty accident two years ago, and my car is still going strong. It would be nice to make it up an incline at a decent pace, but it just allows me to enjoy the scenery a little more. Overall, great car. Im going to miss it when I buy new. Especially the gas mileage.

By Bandito - December 19 - 2:00 amI have had my Ford Aspire (Teal Rocket) for about 3 years now and I must admit that even though I do believe it is the SLOWEST car on the road, it is my favorite car. Its Small and convienient, and still gets the job done. But I have just learned that of my four cylinders, two have next to no compression, I think it is due to working the engine so hard. =)

Great Little Car - 1994 Ford Aspire
By MomBought - November 8 - 2:00 amI bought this car for my daughter to take out-of-state to college and was very glad I did! It has proven to be unusually reliable (for a Ford). She loves the pep it has, the 5 speed transmission, and the GREAT gas mileage (50 MPG). The only problem we had was the muffler and resinator ($300). I also had installed a nicer stereo/cassette for her. The car now has over $80,000 miles on it and is still going strong. Amazing for a tiny little car in a teenagers hands!

While the design of the cars interior and exterior is not awe inspiring or complex, its design is a direct result of functionality. The exterior shape gives ample head room for the average person. The simply sculpted interior is made of durable plastics. This vehicle also has enough pick-up to not leave you behind in city traffic or even the Appalachian Mountian highways. If ou are looking for a inexpensive, reliable, fun to drive car, this may be for you.

1995 aspire - 1995 Ford Aspire
By joe kossuth - March 24 - 2:00 amwe bought this aspire new in summer of 1995 for about 10k. we have now driven it for 7 years and has been the most reliable and trouble free car we have ever owned (owned about 20 cars over 30 years). the only thing that went wrong with it has been the water pump which needed to be replaced twice. the dealership-installed airconditioning needed repair also. other than that we only did maintenance on the car. no rust at all, engine oil usage is minimal, temp gauge never goes above normal and we live in the desert southwest. our next car will be a kia for sure (aspire built by kia). we absolutely loved this car and plan on keeping it until it dies.
