Black R/T - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By Polo - January 4 - 3:02 pmBought the car as a primary, but quickly picked up a winter beater because I couldnt stand to see my baby in the salt and snow. Have had minor problems (tire bulge from previous owner, rearview mirror lights not working all time) but the good far out- weigh the bad. You cant get a better looking car for the money. It will turn heads...even when its parked!

Stratus ES - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By jimbuc43 - December 1 - 10:44 amMy 2002 ES is fun and reliable. Performance with the 2.7L engine is great and it gets good gas mileage. It also looks sporty with my added spoiler.

Honest Review - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By Allabouttheradius - September 29 - 2:00 amboth exterior and interior are visually appealing. however, had to replace all 4 tires within first 18 months - any impact(gravel, curb) messes the tires up -they are expensive to replace. cant pull up to regular parking spots - front end sits so low it scrapes and eventually can tear and drag

cool car - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By video0512 - September 21 - 2:00 amFor the most part I have never had any problems with this car. I just never really enjoyed the ride and handling, especially for this to be a sport coupe. This car is not a great handler.

First Imperssions Can Be Missleading - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By ham_viper - July 6 - 2:00 amThe transmission in this thing is terrible. I have the 6 cylinder with an automatic. The car jumps when you pull up to a stop sign. Also if you sprint to 45 and completly let of the gas, the transmission gives you a nerve racking "THUNK" as it shifts. I had to have the Transmission hoses replaced at 26000. Since then the dealership keeps adding trany fluid but tells me its ok. The battery whent completly out at 38000, no longer under warranty (Bat said 5 year 60000 dealer wouldnt warranty). Left me stranded at a stop light in town in lunch hour traffic. Now the Cig/ACC outlet has stopped working. What is next!!

By tanksfull - June 5 - 2:00 amNo rattles after 40000 miles and handles beautifully but the electrical system is quirky.

I love this car! - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By Jaydawg - May 31 - 2:00 amI bought this car used with about 38,000 miles and have not had many problems so far. The car handles and accelerates well and is easy to find performance and aftermarket accessories for it. Mileage is good and so is the sound. I have noticed that sometimes my sunroof will not open and my rearview mirror rattles when i turn up my subs which is something that I need to fix. Overall I am very satisfied with this car.

dodge stratus 2001 - 2002 Dodge Stratus
By jbreach - May 30 - 10:00 amcompetent performer for its tier - main complaint is poor rear visibility and uncomfortable front seats even with power seats - not a car to take on the road for a long trip
