Been in shop 4 xs since 5/02 - 2002 Dodge Neon
By Vern - August 1 - 2:00 amI am filling this car up every two days, the dealer doesnt seem to think there is a problem. I wrote a letter to daimlerchrysler (ceo) and hoped that this would get resolved, unfortunately after this 4th time in the shop, it still does the same thing. I am fed up with this car.

Mine has broke ddown 2xs in 6mo - 2002 Dodge Neon
By Becky P - July 23 - 2:00 amI bought this car in 12/01. I broke down a week later on the side of a busy highway. My speed sensor wire was busted, and my cam valve was put in backwards at the factory. Now: July 02 and my car stalled, sputtered, engine light came on and then I parked it, it didnt start again. I had previously sent letters about my 1st breakdown to DaimlerChrysler, the dealer I bought the car from, the Manager of the dealer, NO RESPONSE. Chrysler said they would note my complaint! Gee Thanks! With all the problems I am having I wish now that I kept my 12 year old Toyota Corolla, it still ran and didnt give me 1/2 the problems at way over 100k(almost 200k)

Bad experience - 2002 Dodge Neon
By susieQ - May 17 - 2:00 amI purchased this car in may of 1999. It drives great, but not even a couple of months later the horn needed to be replaced. Within the first 6 months i had the car the horn was replaced 5 times. A few months later the power steering pump was replaced. In june of 2001 the head gasket was replaced. Than in January 2002 the head blew and the timming chain broke and had to be replaced. Than in may of 2002 the main rear seal started leaking and now has to be replaced. There are to many problems with this make and model of car. m

what a sorry car, regret!!! - 2002 Dodge Neon
By Night_Vision - April 22 - 2:00 amI just bought the car in late March, 02. The car is not even 1.5 month old, but it was in Dodge Service Department for more 2.5 weeks. There are 5 problems The problems: defective steering pump, Leak gas tank, first gear lagging/weird noise, no grease in my left CV boot which cause damages to my front axle (they replaced the axle), and weird brake noise. This is my first and will be last American car. I bought it because 911 incident and poor American economy, I wanted to support Americans by buying American made stuffs.
