This Year's Model Updates:

The Pacifica is an all-new six-passenger vehicle that combines the attributes of a wagon, minivan and SUV.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, gets expensive when you add high-end options, fussy climate and radio controls.

  • Best Value on 4 Wheels?? - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I had seen the Pacifica a year ago and was initially turned off by the price. The vehicle I saw was loaded with a sticker price floating towards $40K. Two months ago, I saw a local dealership advertising the Pacifica for $25K. I wound up getting another $1K off. Granted this is the base model but its content is similar to the Lincoln LS I was driving which stickered near $38K. Throw in the 4yr 0% interest and this has me wondering if its close to the best deal on four wheels.

Perfect Car for a family of 4 - plus two dogs. Holds lots of hockey equipment! Great for costco runs...but doesnt make you feel like your driving a truck or a mini-van. Its sweet interior makes you feel more like youre driving a Mercedes than these other vehicles.

I usually keep a car no more than 18 months. I have kept this care for 5 years and have 120k miles. Transmission rebuilt at 110k is all. I have only two negative things to say. 1) there is a bad blind spot on right rear window exceedingly dangerous. You really need to watch it. 2) Chryslers just dont seem to keep their value and because of that, no more Chryslers. The Car is great and I would buy another if they were to keep making them and I could get the price down to pay for the depreciation problem.

THE PACIFICA GIVES A FEELING OF COMFORT AND STYLE WHILE DRIVING IT WHICH MAKES YOU PROUD TO OWN IT. THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT IS VERY QUITE WITH NO WIND NOISE AT ALL WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE SOUND SYSTEM IS EXCELLENT AND EASY TO OPERATE WITH THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. OVERALL, I AM PROUD TO OWN THE VEHICLE AND HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ABOUT IT.

  • Goodbye Minivan!! - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

I absolutely love it. I have only had it a week now but am so happy it works with our 2 kids and I no longer own a minivan which I hated. I never expected all the extras including the GPS, DVD, etc, but I only have one complaint, it makes me nervous when checking the blind spot on the drivers side. I hope that is no longer an issue on the newer models.

  • I Love My Pacifica - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

The Pacifica has been ny favorite car ever. First and foremost, it is very safe with the airbacks and side curtains. My only complaint, which is my fault, is that if you leave the doors open for 45 minutes for a cleaning and dont remember to turn off the interior lights, you will run your battery down. The Pacifica has more interior lights than many cars. I was a bit nervous buying a first year model. However, I didnt ever experience any problems. I had to get use to the size of the car. It is bigger than it appears. Also,as a safety feature, the back of the uld recommend that a buyer install a rear view camera in order to see if small children are behind the car.

  • Full Size SUV or Mini Van? - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica
    By -

We have 3 kids. Two require Throne car seats, our third is now the size of a small adult. We needed a car to fit all 5 us so we needed a 3rd seat. I researched all midsize SUVs with 3rd row seating. No 3rd row seat was functional or comfortable and all are hard to get to. We looked at larger SUVs (Yukon, Expedition, Tahoe). A bit to large for my wife & 200-250 a month on gas alone - uh no. A small vanity issue kept us out of minivans hence the Pacifica. Great so far. NICE style bells & whistles, all wheel drive is great (we did purchase the most comprehensive ext. warranty to cover these bells and whistles up to 100,000 miles). Great use of interior space. Working accessible 3rd row

I love this car, I have two little girls and we fit perfectly! I am not a van person and refused to be a "soccer mom" so this car is awesome for people like myself. I love the seat controls being on the door. I always have to adjust after my husband drives (He is 62 and has plenty of room). I also love the radio/cd controls on the steering, a must for me! My kids are getting old enough for friends, so when we have an extra kid, we just flip up the set and roll! I would recommend this car to any family on the go! We love it! Peace

Im a mother of 3, ranging from 3 to 16 and we all love it! Its sharp looking inside and out, esp. Outside. Love the low wide stance. Ours is loaded-I mean loaded-leather, nav, 6 disc changer, power seats, Windows, mirrors, sunroof, heated seats, dvd, dual and rear climate controls, 17 in. Chrome wheels, power up and down liftgate, keyless entry, memory seats, power pedals. So you should get the picture. It drives like a car, its a blast to be in, period! I may just have a lead foot but can relate to the poor gas mileage and poor visibility out the rear. I love this car and Im sure most people will given the chance to drive it.
