When I saw this vehicle on the road for the first time I did a double take and followed the car. This has been the best purchase I could have made. Not only does the car handle beautifully, it is beautiful to look at too! The turbo engine gives it the preformance that I want and the size does not make me feel like a sardine in a can. LOVE IT!!

Im very impressed with this car. We just returned from 1800 mile trip and comfort, driveability, and performance on the road were very good. I also have 2 Porsches, a Boxster and 1984 Carerra 911, we like to travel in. This car doesnt compare of course in the handling department, but comfort, roominess, and power from the turbo on the road, were surprisingly good. Gas mileage was 23-25, not great, but maybe OK considering the performance - cruised easily at 80 - 85 - still pushed you back in the seat when you hit the accelerator. I ran it up to 115 which it hit easily and had it had a lot more to go. Overall, very pleased.

We have a 05 PT Touring Edition Turbo convertible (color: Cool Vanilla) and we love it! Yesterday I parking in front of an out door cafe and as I turned to lock the door I saw each of the four tables pointing and discussing the car. How many cars can do that? The fat roll bar, the raised rear and the low front end sets the car apart. It drives great and Im not sure what turbo is, but this is the quickest car Ive ever been in. The mileage around town is as advertised - 19ish (I should slow down). The back seat is comfortable and large enough for two adults (not three). Compare the price of this convertible (new or used) with another sporty convertible and youll save $5- $10K. Buy one!

  • Horrid trunk - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

The car is a enjoyable little car but the trunk leaves a lot to be desired. It open up which makes putting thing in or taking them out is almost impossible. One needs to get into the bent over position, and practically have to climb inside to reach anything. Other than that, I enjoy it.

This car is much better than i thought before buying it. Real sporty and alot of room. A eye getter. Quiet ride. Rides like a big car with great fuel and performance. The price in cheap also. Wouldnt drive anything else.

First American car in 15 years. Traded a VW new Beatle that was terrible. Love the PTs versatility. Very comfortable and smooth on the highway. Plenty of power. Slightly heavy steering but feels good at high speeds. A fun car to drive with good human factors. Quality of finish very nice. Had to have steering rack replaced at 8000 miles but will assume that was an anomoly. Dealer handled the repair nicely and the alignment was perfect after repair. Much better quality than my VW. Very good warrantee. All in all I am pleasantly surprised. Time will tell if quality is comparable to Toyota or Honda. However his car makes me smile when I look at it and that goes a long way!

This is one great performance car, that turns heads where ever it goes. Being Plum in color with optional chome wheels sent it apart from all others, while still getting 28 MPG and better on high test.

  • Classic and Unique - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I got this car $2500 below MSRP with 0% because Crysler was runing combo promotion until end of February. This car use to sell for 18K two years ago. It is built to last. It looks like 28K Acura inside and outside: Dark Blue exterior color with classic interior in beige color with chrome speedometer and handles. And it has room and cargo space similar to Honda Element. It comes with power window, 6 speakers Infinity system (you can add CD changer), fold down removable seats and other features. Car is unique.

  • 2005 Pt from a Corvette driver - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

We have found this to be one of the most fun cars we have owned. Having driven Corvettes for years, that is really significant. For ease of entering, exiting, driving to the store, short trips or long trips, just a lot of enjoyment in driving and operating.

I bought a 2005 PT in 2007 with 11k miles as a 16th birthday gift for my daughter, with the plan it would get her through college and then "throw it away". Well, now at 50k miles and 7 years later, this has been the most trouble free car ever. The plan was to sell it and use the proceeds on a new car, but it still looks and drive as new, she still loves it and for the $5000-6000 its worth, is still half what I paid 7 years ago. Huge value in my mind.
