  • Great Road Car - 2001 Chrysler Concorde

This is an all around great touring car that has a luxury feel and is loaded with extras. The leather interior is gorgeous, and the car easily and comfortably holds 5 adult passengers on long trips. MPG is 23 city and 29 hwy if your tires are kept inflated. In the two years I have owned the car, I needed to replace the A/C condensor and the battery. Both are more costly than necessary as the under hood arrangement does not make it easy for your mechanic. This is my third Concorde since 1994 and I will miss them when they are all gone!

  • Nice car - 2002 Chrysler Concorde

I bought the car on October 2006 with 54K miles and after three yrs and 40K miles more, works like new. At the beginning I was skeptical due to the Chrysler reputation, but I was wrong with it. For its size, its very comfortable for 5 adults, sometimes six. My car has leather seats and dark interior, which I liked. Until now, I have no complains with the engine, after all the terror stories I read after. Major fixes: A/C evaporator blown in summer 2009 ($400), faulty driver side power windows ($100), regular maintenance (tires, oil, brakes, etc.). The paint is OK but I find recently a few spots due to excess rain in Puerto Rico and the warranty doesnt cover it.

  • Best car I have owned!! - 1997 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

I have owned dozens of cars (BMW, Cadillac, Honda, Toyota, Valiant, New Yorker, etc.). This 160K miles car has been clearly the best riding, best performing, and most comfortable of the lot. It still gets 25-26 mpg on the interstate and more than 20 around town. Yes, I have had to maintain it, but it has paid me back with great service. My wife howls when I say new car. I guess we will drive it until it stops.

  • MULTIPLE ISSUES - 2002 Chrysler Concorde
    By -

Shortly after we brought the car in for its 60000 mi maintenance which included coolant flush & fill, it overheated several times. We brought it back to the garage & they told us that some particle had gotten stuck in the system. They flushed & filled it again (no charge). A couple of years later it developed a fuel leak which goes away after engine warm up. We brought it back to the garage for this & they replaced the fuel injector seals but it still leaks. We have brought it back several more times but they cannot fix the problem. My suspicion is that the leak developed as a result of the engine overheating some years ago. Several other issues as well. Not enough space to write here

  • 2002 in distress - 2002 Chrysler Concorde

I have a 2002 Concorde LXI and I love it. Recently I was very disturbed to find that the part I need to fix my drivers side air bag is not in stock and possibly would be hard to find. This has made it difficult for me as I am at this time on vacation in Arizona and I live in Ontario Canada. So can you see what the problem is. I simply want to correct this situation before I head back another 3600 mile drive on the freeways. Seems to me that although my car is 7 years I am not to get the service and quality that Chrysler is always raving about. I just cant believe this is actually a problem. I have had through my business over 20 older cars and have never had a problem such as this.Help.

  • Kind a nice - 1996 Chrysler Concorde

3.5l eats gas in town, but on highway its great. I had the computer system in the car figure out my gas mileage all the time driving pizzas. I saw 14mpg in town b-4. Leather seats were AWESOME and so was the sound system. Bought car for 2500, lost it to tranny failure 6 months into it that would have cost me 2000 to fix. Good scape metal now.

  • Love that car! - 1999 Chrysler Concorde

If you can live with almost 100% failure of door handles, window motors, cup holder and upper hood molding strip, the rest is pure joy to drive and comfort to ride in. I am trying to decide between a new car or a rebuilt engine in the 143,000 mile Concord that is using oil every couple of weeks. They dont make them like this now that are affordable for the normal person who cant afford a luxury vehicle.

  • Chrysler Conconde - 1994 Chrysler Concorde

This 1994 Chrysler had major problems and recalls when I bought it in 2002. It had (2) recalls clucth and gear shift. also cv axles problems. It look like it was in and accident, but the dealer fail to tell that story.

  • one of the greats - 1994 Chrysler Concorde

I bought a 1994 concorde in 2000 and had 130,000 miles on it. Now in 09 its at 312,387 miles and the trans shifts smooth as can be. only problem I ever had with this car was the tires. it has not failed me once. I am a firm dodge/chrysler man. Ive fixed more cars then most. the 3.5 is a great motor along with the 3.3. Every dodge Ive owned has given me my moneys worth. have a 1977 dodge powerwagon with a 360 that has 796,342 miles on it. Best truck I will ever had owned. just like this concorde is shaping up to be the best car i ever owned. you treat her right shell treat you like a king. Plus it doesnt have pointless parts which go out that need replacing like chevy and ford.

  • reiview of all the concorde reviews - 1997 Chrysler Concorde

We purchased our concorde new with only 7 miles on it. After reading all the previous reviews it is funny because I can agree with all of them. I love the style , comfort and size of the car. Also through out the 12 years of ownership have had to go through the AC problems Chrysler dealers could never get it right but another private mechanic fixed the problem something with the thermostat once that was taken care of ir only requires the normal TLC since it is a big engine and takes midgrade gas we are going to trade it in when the gov. CARS program is official it qualifies. I will miss it great sound system , great on the turnpike, and roomy enough to keep kids happy on long trips
