  • Chevy Knocks it out of the Park! - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse

Considered Acadia, Toyota (faithful fan of them), mini-vans. This beat them all. Chevy did it right with this vehicle. Driving LTZ with everything. Size and mileage are ok, but comfort TOTALLY makes up for it. Very good mixture of minivan/suv/car. Excellent storage and room. We have a young family of 4. We purchase all vehicles and drive them til the end. This one (hopefully) will be quite a ride til then!

The best vehicle that I have ever owned. Chevy is going to make a huge comeback from bankruptcy protection with vehicles like this. I would rather own this over a comparable Toyota. Two years ago, I wouldnt have said that.

We are very satisfied with this car. Its fun and easy to drive, and it has plenty of power. We love the side mirrors, the back up camera, and the cargo space. Actually, one of the main reasons we decided on the Traverse was because of the generous cargo space. We purchased running boards and think they are a must, and should be an automatic part of the car.

The crossover has superb engineering and style inside and out. Plenty of pep, quite and smooth ride, great fit and finish,ON_STAR,Bose radio with GMs new nav system, LTZ very sporty, nice cockpit feel, Many creature comforts and very high tech.

Plenty of room. Great for car poolers whose kids have backpacks. Ample legroom, headroom, and cargo space. We love the styling. The dash is a bit disappointing, as the RPM indicator is almost as big as the speedometer, and markings on the controls could be more user friendly. The Bose stereo sounds very good. We have the sunroof up front, and the kids have the moonroof in back, which they definitely like. All the room plus the moonroof give an open feel in back that helps on trips. My wife had to hit the breaks hard when a truck in front of her dropped a dresser while doing 70. It stopped fast and straight. We are very pleased overall, and feel good we bought American.

  • Best Bang For My 31K - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse

Lt1, jewel coat, 2nd row captains chairs, towing pkg. Hard fought battle down to the cx-9 / traverse. 2mos of digging, reading forums, comparing. Arcadia, enclave, pilot, Veracruz out (between 3-10k higher for the same 3rd row, awd features). Had I more money to spend, I may have considered 1 of the others. Fit and finish was very good. Interior was good, but with power port to close to cup holder on console. Exceptional ride and responsive handling. Mileage hwy den-cheye @70-78, as advertised. 6 on exterior design, front clip has to much drag. Cheesy top rail design, good for collecting debris, dirt, and pine needles. If youre going to design such a rail, do so with a top cap! Otherwise ++++

  • Our Traverse LTZ took us cross country! - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse
    By -

We bought our 2010 Traverse LTZ Sept. 21st in NC and left for Nevada Sept. 25th. When not driving in heavy 50 MPH headwinds in Arizona, we average 24.4 MPG at 7 MPH over posted speeds. My wife purchased plastic storage containers for our clothes, which we selected the next days wear from when stopping at hotels. Both second and third row seats remained folded flat to maximize needed storage for 5 weeks! The ice chest for bottled water rode strapped in with seat belt across the two second row bucket seats. One flat tire in Las Vegas was caused by construction material & repaired by the local dealership. An oil change was needed in Texas upon our return route. We were very comfortable.

The traverse is the most comfortable more roomy and handles and drives great. I have mother in law that lives with us and 2 dog that go with us on vacations or wherever it has plenty room and very comfortable for them in the back, the only thing I have had issue with is the lift gate the button on the back will work sometimes and sometimes it want they told me to being it back it need to be synchronized. The only other thing is the gas mileage could be better but it better than any other of the vehicles and its as large inside than the larger suvs so I am happy I bought it.

  • First Chevy Ever - Happy I did - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse

This is my first venture into a Chevy (or any GM car). We have been a Subaru family, but now that a third kid is on the way we needed a third row. We are one of the no-minivan families. Captains chairs in the middle were a must since you cant get to the third row if you have car seats on the middle row. Extremely safe - avoided 2 accidents already (northeast has slippery weather). I never had traction control before and it saved me prob $15,000 accident. Drives great with wonderful pickup - big engine and 6 speed helps a lot with that. Very little road noise. Mileage is pretty good (16 MPG with little highway) thanks to switching to AWD only when it needs it. Highly Recommended!
