Overview & Reviews
The Chevrolet Equinox has been completely redesigned for 2010. It has sleek new styling inside and out, a more fuel-efficient engine lineup and a lower price.
- Upscale look inside and out, quiet cabin, generous storage bins, roomy back seat, fuel-efficient four-cylinder, available high-tech features.
- Not quite as much cargo space as chief rivals, some controls difficult to reach, lifeless steering.

My review - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By jFlo - July 17 - 6:12 amHorrible drive-ability. No power. Crude seat adjustments. Poor visibility on instrument cluster. EXTREMELY poor ventilation, NO VENTS in rear of vehicle. Vents in front cabin have limited angles and dont even hit the driver. AC is so loud you cant hold a conversation. Massive blind spots- even in the peripheral of the front wind shield!

Sick of GM. - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Detailer - July 8 - 6:32 pmWay overpriced $30,000.00 4 cylinder, lt1 package, basics pw, pb, air, etc. Cheap looking inside, smaller than previous models. Best of all nothing off sticker price and no rebates, wow!

Disappointed - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Nicole - June 8 - 3:22 pmI ordered a new 2010 AWD LTZ Equinox. It was beautiful when it arrived. About 2 weeks of driving the engine started reving up to scary RPM. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the TRANSMISSION. It has been 3 weeks now and no one seems to be able to get a transmission to replace mine. Contacted GM and they do not seem to be concerned either. So for now I am disappointed I bought an Equinox and a GM vehicle. So I wait for the dealership to try to replace my transmission and I am going to have to make a payment on something I have not been able to drive. DISAPPOINTED!

Undesirable Aspects - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Gary St. Hilaire - October 2 - 9:23 amBlind spots on drivers side make this a scary vehicle to drive. Dont expect passing gear to kick in and take right off when you are changing lanes on the freeway and really need it to kick in at that moment. It swallows one or two times first. Many driver seat combinations block the view of the speedometer in the 40-70 mph range. Drivers window up too high and leaning your arm out the window has your shoulder close to your ear or higher. Hardest riding, nosiest vehicle I have ever owned (Im 56). Although the vehicle has deft steering, turning off the Traction Control seems to help with the stability or whatever that odd feeling is with the vehicle. Glad I only leased it for 3 years.

Equi-lemon - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By John Roland - November 28 - 9:56 pmHad the vehicle only two days when engine light came on. Took to dealer and they told me that the part that is needs in non-existant? Not in the system and will have to be taken off the assembly line at the Cami plant in Ingersoll? Part finally comes in three days later and does not fix the problem. GM Engineering tells dealer to start checking the electrical grounding system for the potential problem. I called the GM customer care in Oshawa and because it is a leased fleet car, she would not take my concern, told me to have the company call and complain. I told her I was unhappy and would right a review online, she told me "Good luck with that". I am through with GM! JR.
