Just the vehicle I dreamed of. It comes with all the amenities expected in a contemporary SUV.Just the feel and looks of it brings joy; with great MPG, you cannot ask for anything else.

I purchased the 2-LT with the optional V-6 engine 264 HP. Im glad I did. Planning on lots of X-country & long haul driving. Got 22.5 mpg on the first 300 mile trip. Expecting more as engine breaks in. Once I got used to how the trans shifted I was able to really make the car move out. Very smooth and powerful acceleration. Very fast and sure. The manual shift feature really adds a sportiness to the performance. Very sure footed and sporty ride. Feels great as speed. Corners real well steering is responsive and accurate. Interior design nice.Gauges easy to see and read. Night gauge and dash lights are cool. Remote start fog lights rear backup camara nice. Dual exhaust looks and sounds great

  • First GM vehicle in the family - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

4cyl, 2LT, FWD, power liftgate. It feels like a European car - full of high-tech features, nice handling, smooth ride, quiet, well-built, economical. Everything is automatic, from lamps to climate - you just enter it, switch to "D", drive, get the key out, leave. Smooth, quiet ride. Looks and feels way more expensive than it is. For families with car seats - it is easy to remove rear headrests by unlocking them first. Just insert a thick needle (or straightened paper clip) into each small hole in the plastic ring around the metallic rod of the headrest, and use something firm to push the needle towards the lock. Once both locks are unlocked, the rear headrest slides up easily.

  • Enjoying the ride! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

I looked at the CRV, Forester, Venza, Rogue. I couldnt get excited about any of them. Waiting has its rewards though as the 2010 Equinox became available. I like the looks and comfort this car has to offer. The large leather seats fit me well, I guess Im just GM-sized! Im enjoying the OnStar, Bluetooth connection and XM radio communication features. The ride is very smooth and quiet. The 6 cylinder engine moves the car smartly down the road. The 6 speed tranny seems to work well. Letting off on the accelerator is like applying the brakes since it seems to adjust to the change instantly and starts slowing down. I appreciate the backup camera and backup sensors when I put the car in reverse

  • Please drive American Chevy last - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

This is a great family SUV. Very attractive outside, elegant, very quiet (Active noise canceling) & spacious inside(biggest rear leg room), more than adequate power. Fuel economy is better than Toyota Camry !! Bluetooth, hands free steering mounted controls, voice recognition, iPod connectivity, auto-on lights, rearview camera are just a few to mention the conveniences. Standard maximum air bags, Traction control, OnStar service are outstanding for the price the car sells for.

  • Chevy Hits a Homerun - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

After a summer of searching, Im glad I waited for the 2010 Nox. At 67" I couldnt squeeze into the Rav, CRV, Santa Fe..... It came down to VW Tigan vs. NEW Equinox. Chevy won hands down based on expanded cabin size vs. 09, MPG and overall value. It fits in my garage better than my old four door sedan too....an added bonus! Dont expect much off sticker or incents given on other Chevys. But grab one quick before they figure out they put too much into the 2010 for the money. This one competes with SUVs in a larger class.

  • Love almost everything - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

We have owned this car for about 7 months and have 10K+ miles. Overall we have been very pleased. This is the entry level car. We average about 19- 24 MPG ( this is disappointing). Power is alright and it handles well.

I researched the heck out of this before I bought it and havent been disappointed, except maybe the sluggish acceleration (freeway ramps, etc.) Love the looks inside & out. Extremely comfortable seats, plenty of room inside. This is my first Chevy and first American car in maybe 10 years. I had to pay top dollar and fight off others trying to buy it out from under me, but no regrets. I have about 2,500 miles now and last week I got 35 mph on an all interstate trip...pretty impressive! If youre looking for a crossover, you should definitely give the Equinox a try!

  • Worth the Wait!! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

I dont know about everyone else, but in my area these are extremely hard to find. However, Im glad I held out and ended up getting the Equinox. Its very roomy on the inside despite its compact size, the navigation system is AMAZING, great sound system, adjustable rear seat, blutetooth handsfree, back- up camera, and much more make this car very fun, reliable, and classy. Everyone will comment on it!

Excellent vehicle. However, I think it is over priced from $5000 to $7000. Upholstering appears to have a problem as it relates to heated seats. Leather seats are stretching out and riding up. High pitched sound of transmission is little distracting. Great road car with excellent ride and comfort.
