Overview & Reviews
The Chevrolet Equinox has been completely redesigned for 2010. It has sleek new styling inside and out, a more fuel-efficient engine lineup and a lower price.
- Upscale look inside and out, quiet cabin, generous storage bins, roomy back seat, fuel-efficient four-cylinder, available high-tech features.
- Not quite as much cargo space as chief rivals, some controls difficult to reach, lifeless steering.

hopefully it gets better - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By tomw - March 1 - 1:26 amSo far its been my wifes car, and has seen virtually no long highway drives, but the average mileage being displayed is 16.8mpg. I feel sick. I fully expected 20+ in town, and 25+ for the type of driving she does. Seemed like a great car, and is very nice, but I bought it for fuel economy and I feel cheated.

My New MPG SAVER - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By TradedMyTahoe - February 17 - 10:10 amThis is my first smaller SUV, and so far it has been great, MPG is awesome, ride is quiet, I dont see a need for the V6, unless you tow, if not, go for the standard 4, save money and Gas. The difference in Horsepower and Torque isnt noticeable, less then 1 second 0-60mph. Purchased a 1LT equipped the same as a 2LT, minus the power driver seat and radio upgrade. Wish I could have gotten the radio upgrade, I am used to upgrading my radios in my cars and that would have done the trick. Standard radio seems ok so far, with 2 young kids, I sure it will be fine.

2010 LTZ AWD - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By irwin2842 - February 10 - 6:50 pmLove the cockpit feel while driving this car. Also the blue tooth is awesome. I am getting used to all the new buttons but very similar to my Acadia just smaller but drives and rides like a dream. Excellent service from my dealer and priced very well. Who could ask for more? Way to go Chevy :)

More car for the price - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By pdm777 - February 3 - 2:23 pmI looked at the 09 Equinox and was not impressed loved the Traverse...but a little pricey and did not like the gas mileage...when I saw an add for the 2010 Equinox I had to go look...it was totally tricked out with more room, and better MPG and a total redone. Loved that it was also less expensive and had more features added.

Love this SUV - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Frank Clark - January 30 - 8:20 pmHad to order the vehicle to get the options and color we wanted but well worth the wait. Took our first road trip within two days of delivery - Jacksonville,FL to Chattanooga, TN yielded 26.6 MPG in regular mode. Return trip in ECO got us 28.5 mpg. Mostly Interstate highway at 70-75 MPH. No problem with acceleration or power in ECO mode on the interstate. Not bad out of the gate. This vehicle is a winner. Glad GM got it right. Comfortable ride, pleasure to drive. Not as quite of a ride as we remember from our test drive, but all in all a great SUV.

A winner for GM - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Teach - January 18 - 1:23 pmI have owned my 2010 Equinox for a month. I had the opportunity to take it on a 1400 mile trip which gave me excellent feedback performance wise in different driving conditions- interstate highway, city driving and driving in the mountains. In every case the 4 cyl was up to the challenge either in regular mode or Eco mode. I didnt really notice any difference in performance from one mode to the other- both have more than sufficient power for my needs. The gas mileage meets the expectations given for the 4 cyl. Both interior and exterior quality are big improvements over previous model years. Not only has the quality improved GM managed to lower the price across all Trim levels!

AWD LTZ V6 Review - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By mrgto - January 16 - 7:20 pmWe sold our 2008 Saturn Vue Redline and purchased this Equinox. What an improvement. Amazing difference. Rides better, quieter, same power, and many more creature comforts. There are few options I probably wouldnt have opted for but with limited availability beggars cant be choosers.

2010 Equinox 1LT FWD - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Doug A - December 19 - 11:56 amI like the design and ride of my Equinox. Smooth and quite on the rode. 4 cyl seems a little sluggish sometimes but the fuel economy is good. So far averaging 23.8 mpg. There is plenty of room for my wife, dog and I to take trips. Interior design is nice and contemporary with no wood grain.:) Have had issues with wavy lines in windshield. Dealer replaced it with another wavy windshield. Also have seen this in other Equinoxes on the lot. It is extremely noticeable on sunny days. If you can see lines in your windshield too please put in a formal complaint with GM through your dealer to replace it and help me out. Also had paint chipping where the fascia meets the right front quarter panel.

Very impressed, good buy - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By howellad - November 25 - 10:46 amWe purchased the car in late February after waiting 8 weeks for delivery. We were nervous about a GM purchase, but this vehicle is all we had hoped for after 2 months of ownership. We love the style and its drivability. Interior is of great feel and appearance. We love the center console and it is in easy reach of the driver. The navigation system is amazing, we find the seating very comfortable and roomy. We admit we hope the mileage will improve but we have done little freeway driving at this point. The Equinox handled our spring Colorado snows storms with no issues. The quality of the sound system is impressive and easy to use. Congratulations Chevy you got the Equinox right.

"road sweep" entering auto at door base - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Barbara - November 21 - 1:40 amIve only driven my Equinox under 300 miles. I like the way the automobile handles and the comfort of the interior. I worry about future rust and corrosion of the vehicle (see suggested improvement section).
